I think whole weekend contests are a bit of a problem area for attracting entrants.

A lot of serious players want the single game slates so they can ensure against late scratchings. Especially around origin time when team lists are less predictive than usual.

They have the ability to hide players on the rankings, so if they bring in rolling lockout that might help encourage people to play more.

Its funny how sometimes players are hidden and other times you can see everything.

I joined up on the weekend and got 9th in the 10k, so a hundred bucks. Only had one team in it. Milchow you are killing it.

any of you guys do the Bball?

Baseball or Basketball? I had a crack at some NBA freerolls and cheap tournies but did no good. Just like when i played the AFL i dont know enough about the players to know which cheap or first gamers were going to get the best scores so have really just stuck to NRL. I might have a crack at MLB when the aussie sites get it up and running as there is a huge amount of stats and info around on that.

sorry was basketball. I'm only on MB, they don't have baseball yet as an option (but do NFL, NBA).

Just K Love out tonight could shake things up with Cleveland minutes, speculation of 2/3 diff players to get increase in minutes or LeBron play diff position. I'm sticking with my orignal picks and hoping to fade a few players i.e jefferson who is starting

Ive seen a bit of that, guessing its non league guys just going of stats/avg

lol that's unfortunate. No one in my game had D Boyd which was lucky. It turns out that guy ALSO has Edrick Lee in his team, so only had 5 legitimate players. If you guys see 'slow salmon' signed up for an event, i suggest you also join in.

In the end I barely broke 200 pts, but won by a comfortable 60 odd, with the third guy only another 15 pts behind that.


does anybody have any good AFL tips? tempted to jump in the 5k one gamer tonight but don't really follow AFL. In the free rolls I've just looked at final teams and picked players that are def starting, and based on who I think will win / who is favourite team

Nothing in particular. Just having a jam in the 5k game tonight on mb. Picked a team based on lists based towards hawks players. And hoping that gunston is late withdrawal or plays injured

Going to be a lot of Warrior stacks today, though the Knights have a good home record against them, because of this and Titans record v parra (5 of last 6) think I'll only enter 1 super Saturday team with a Titans stack

Have some big money h2h in Draftstars live at the moment but all have Surgess and Glenn so will struggle there

DraftStars $5k well down on entries this week. Halving the prize money has killed entries.

2 Monday games probably doesn't help.  I think a Saturday+Sunday is probably better for them.

Should definitely only be the 2 days until they sort out team edit until lock out.

Might start looking now at entering a couple of teams in the 5k

Some hefty scores after that warriors game shiiiiiit.  Missed the boat on fusitua badly. One of the biffs I did a team with no warriors in case they fucked up. My bad.

I bubbled twice in DS tournies yesterday 1 spot out of the money

That was a great game. Picked up 2nd in the 1K event. Finished 4th but updates got me to 2nd. Nice surprise.

Still a massive overlay for the 10k tonight in NRL. only just over 200 entries so far, needs to hit 667 just to cover the entry (excl fees). pays out 120 spots, 2k up top.
