Got away with a $50 cash in the NRL from my lone entry. Saw one guy was entered between 40-50 teams but didnt even hit top 10.

parlayed into the NBA today. So filthy with myself, had my teams set up and then tinkered with 15 mins to go. Team I had set first originally would have taken out the $1750 event for $650 but I fucked up and the team i changed to bubbled.

Left my original team in the single entry $5 and shipped that for $120 which makes up for some of the pain. (pre updates, but not likely any late changes in NBA)

Draft Stars $10k lasted 2 weeks. 1 week at $5k and now its a $2k tournament.

Money dried up fast over there

i wonder if the lack of games has something to do with it?

They shouldnt have spent all that cash on AFL with those 50ks so early. Now they are running a big multi week entry to a 50k tournie with qualifiers but doesnt have the same impact when they had 1 week tournies for the same prize

    Who's playing tonight?

Anyone up for a bragging rights tournie tonight? $2 or $5 WTA?

    Draftstars have added NFL

Looking forward to this but think the scoring is slightly different and has 2 x flex positions

Have never played Fantasy NFL before. I'm entered in a Free Monday for fun game on Draftstars just to see what the scoring is like.
I've also got a team in a NFL fantasy comp on VSDT.
Should be fun, having NO idea about the players and their scoring.

If youre into stats then you can get really involved and have a bit of fun.

From what i can see with the scoring and pricing ill be looking to fill my flex with WR who are going to get a lot of targets/catches as they get points for receiving yards (10m=1p) as well as 1p per reception, while the RBs only get 1p per 10m run and 0p for rushing attempts (they do still get 1p per reception though)

A pretty popular strategy is the QB/WR stack, picking players from the same team to double up on the points. Generally not a good idea to stack WR/RB though.

If you have any questions on players pm me, ill try help

For those interested, FanLeague's write up on the state of DFS in Australia right now

    http://www.fanfooty.com.au/blog/still-a-mile-to-run-2016-australian-fantasy-industry-update/

Top8 and SFP appear to be merging. They are still separate sites (with separate balances) at the moment but using the same interface which I guess will converge at some point.

For anyone with a top8 account, all their comps are free this week.
I entered an NRL comp with no idea on who anyone is and just picked a bunch of players semi-randomly

I just got an email from Moneyball offering rake free private comps until 28/2. There isn't anything up for the 9's yet but I'd imagine they'll have something and a fanatics type league could be a bit of fun.
