Thinking similar, if not the same trades. Hoping Jones is back in some capacity next week to add edge depthBethany_B wrote:As long as Burbo can keep his starting spot at Manly (and he should, him and Koula are much better centres than Harper), then my trades are fairly simple
* Lee to Burbo - gets me someone with money to make and playing round 13
* Tuilagi to Elliott - I wasn't convinced this week, but his low scores will roll out of his average so he still can make enough money to warrant 2 trades now - if he averages 45 between now and round 13 he will make ~120k and be a valuable bye scorer, then an easy sell in round 14

With that said I also have Tago and Schneider who will have much higher BEs, so I could potentially sell one or both of those guys instead (especially if Edrick doesn't pass HIA protocols)

Burbo situation is interesting. Keep the brothers sweet, by keeping him starting maybe.

I'd just like to add my voice to the "I brought Taumalolo & I killed him" previous posts. Those 2 disallowed tries was just twisting the knife. I never considered how the extra mins for Cotter & Robson & the impact on Lolo's mins. Currently 680(c)/15 with Hynes & Pappy left...2 potential large scores so the 800 mark is possible.

Wasn't there a Luke Williamson the ex manly player or is Luke not his first name.

That's a funny way of describing bouncing the ball and not grounding it

To be fair he didn’t say ‘wrongly disallowed’

New thing which annoys me a lot - when teams celebrate the opposition knocking the ball on. I get you might congratulate a good tackle but, recently, you get players whooping, hollering, high-fiving and wingers running from the opposite side of the field to join in the hoopla as if they've secured the Premiership - all because a flipper-limbed prop has dropped it cold. Sometimes, this happens when teams are getting flogged. These celebrating players are often the ones who drop the ball themselves a couple of plays later.
Just get on with the game, you muppets.

I agree with the sentiment, with the only time I'd disagree is when a team had defended their own line for quite some time. The opponent dropping the ball isn't what they're celebrating, its how hard they worked in defence.Cake Tiger wrote:New thing which annoys me a lot - when teams celebrate the opposition knocking the ball on. Upvoted for use of "flipper limbed prop" but disagree entirely with the sentiment

Nah I’m with, it used to be just Justin Hodges that got in the face of players making an unforced error and everyone thought he was a cat. Now it’s standard.
The other thing that annoys me only as an old person is teams basically stop playing about 20-40 secs before the end now. It’s like the worst part of American sports and it’s come into RL. Doesn’t actually affect the game but makes me irrationally angry. Would love to have someone absolutely cream the guy surrendering in a tackle and looking to shake hands before the buzzer.

Dragons - Gurgess out, Sims to prop, Bird to edge, Amone to 5/8, Sullivan to bench. Aka back to the team setup that was getting pumped a month ago lol

Most elite teams are taught to pretty much overly celebrate every little things these days. Has an impact on team energy/positive mentality.
High fives all around after every little thing even if it's just an error from the opposition.

Sharks won't match the top sides without a big min middle, eg Murray, yeo, cotter, jurbo. Mcinnes is the fix.
