    R: Randall Schnieder MKing Sexton
    E: Ilias Koula Coates Leo

    1st trade: Papy to someone.
2nd trade: Awful lot of players who need to go..

My squad was post trade. Coates moved on before he bleeds cash with job done. Coates>Walsh for 20k seems like a good trade to me with round 13 in mind. Papy to Crichton gives me edge depth which was lacking

In your situation I'd be looking at Coates and Leo if you have any cash. Ship has sailed on moving on Sexton so you probably have to wait for him to come good now

Didn't start with him and the week I went to trade him in I went with Leo at close to base price instead. The extra cash was needed to get Cleary a short time later but would like to have Ming plugging away as a fringe bench option

Mate, Walsh came off in the last few minutes feeling his hammy. I mean he's named, but watch out for that.

Like the above, depends on what you do with the other cash and the team balance
Meaney might be good if it allows you to upgrade another 300-400k player into a more playable option
Ie Papy frees up and get you say Meaney+Elliott with potential to make some quick cash and points until rd 14, and pushes a weaker player out of the scoring week to week

Then swap them to stable rd17 players or perhaps your guns like TTrbo/Teddy etc and hold on for the ride home

The game is all calculated gambles, just depends on how much you want to risk

Trades I was thinking was Papy and Jones out for Meaney and Elliot which leaves me this team

    324k bank

    Grant
    MKing Lolo Haas
    Talakai IPap
    Cleary Hastings
    Penisini Tago
    Coates Meaney Hynes

    Starling
    Schneider
    Elliot
    Tass(loop if not playing)

    Koula
    Ilias
    Thompson
    Vailea

What do you think? Or should I just bring in Teddy/Turbo?

Yeah Coates out is a good call. Does leave me hangin by a thread at WFB as I wanted to trade Papy to Angus/Harris/etc and dont really want to turn Coates into another WFB (no good looking cows atm). Anyway, might just run with it

Hmmm Pongdong does look mighty tempting at that price eh.
Has pedigree and his scoring does seem to have levelled out a bit recently, if he goes on a run he's a bargain at that price. If the Knights are to sort their s&*t, I'd say he will be a big reason too.
Might be worth the risk and that extra 132K going him over Turbo would be super handy if he does pick up his scoring.
Someone talk me out of this madness lol!

How does Ilias vs Warriors not get in 17 over Schneider? Do you think Walsh will get his highest score this season to reach his BE?

Ilias averages <30 for his career he isn't coming anywhere near my 17

I think Walsh will comfortably outscore Edrick Lee and Koula who are my alternatives and I prefer points over cash

Actually the draw is nice for ages really. When he's around same price as Drinkwater and misses one game I know who I'd rather get. Could be huge POD

Not sure if anyone has posted about Ponga yet, but have a look at his scores and his run.

Only played 7 games so far, Roosters, Sharks, Sea Eagles, Dragons , Eels, Storm and Cowboys. 6 of those teams are in the top 7 and none are in the bottom 4.

With Clifford out of the team, Ponga is goal kicking again.

The only bottom 8 team he has played so far he scored 102.

Next 3 games Bulldogs, Broncos, Warriors.

Schneider 2 game avg of 23.5 vs Warriors and Bulldogs

I really enjoyed Walsh's 16pts from last 120 minutes of footy before I kicked him into touch prior to Sharks game

Welcome to my team Thomas Trbojevic

Papy > Turbo last year was a great move, albeit a little earlier in the season. Hoping Turbo can gun it up to make up for lost rounds over Origin, big POD at this stage. If it doesn't pay off it's not like dropping to 20k is any different from 16k.

Fully aware he could have games where he does nothing but the potential is there, so sign me up, I’m sure I’ll make worse trades

Well its fine and gives you cash for next week to make another trade
The only thing I would be worried about say over the next few weeks would be playing 4 centres in your starting 17
Throw in coates, schneider as well and there is a lot of volatility there.

Given their price and your depth elsewhere it may be wise to let one go in the future ?
After the round 13 bye and the 4 trades may open up some more options for you then perhaps, might be able to clear out the chaff and get a couple of upgrades
