With the little rumor mill running regarding CLaw playing 5/8th, I have dropped him and bought in Green... Leaves me with 134k up my sleeve. Should I use that or hand onto it in case Green goes to the poo?

I think it could put you ahead of the pack. I thought about looking right into byes after talking with you earlier. I'm not going to, but maybe it is your POD this year if that makes sense?Cruise Elroy wrote:Maybe you guy's are right and I'm focusing on the byes to much, they're still weeks and weeks away, should be enough time to get shit sorted.

In Green's only game in the 2nd row last year he scored 51.

Bit too much to hand on to imo, but if you're happy with your team don't feel forced to spend more

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 10
I could upgrade a second rower to Paasi, Turner or the likes but not really sold on either of those.
Asides from out and out scorers in my second row (risky I know but prepared to have a dabble) I'm pretty happy with my team.
Hodgson could bite me, risk I'm willing to take, little light in my centres but most are...
I think it has potential.

I like Turner Goon, he'd be about the only one I'd bring in I think. But unless he scores huge this week I think I can hold off a week or so to make that decision, just gives me a chance to see how he goes.

As long as they play Origin every week, you should be golden.

Can I just say that playing with 3 second rowers (one of which in an unknown at NRL level) and then 3 rookies is a big no no in my books

Cheers mate, you could be right. The past couple years I've been there or there abouts come the bye rounds but ended up falling well off the pace afterwards because I've kept ending up with to few trades.

That CLaw rumour to 5/8 is disconcerting but I don't know the guy in the video calls him Jack Littlehorn and whenever someone makes a gaffe like that, I think maybe it could just be rumour mongering.

I'll keep doing it mate, I don't do much relating to the fantasy side of things like SI and Bren. So it doesn't bother me to do it.

Three are NPR's, not using them as reserves. But TBH, I'd usually agree with you 100%. Usually I'm very reserved when it comes to this game and wouldn't play the likes of Whitehead and Sue in a blue moon. But this year I thought I'd try a different approach. Worst it can cost me is trades and I usually end up with three at the end of the year anyways as I'm perhaps TOO reserved.
Gotta risk it for the biscuit!

Tough question mate! I'm on the Maubbs train for the 8th year in a row so would say 2nd due to unsure on Green's job security. I am not convinced that James Graham is doing anything more than last year though.Jamboree wrote:Fafita/green at Ctr or

EDIT: Bren when he sees your Fifita spelling:

I think Whitehead's overpriced, but I do like English (and NZ etc) players because they don't play Origin. I could shift to Sue with zero dollars left. Hmm.

Thoughts on trading Cherrighton out of reserve hooker for jayden niko? after the 8 round banned on Pearce better then cherri being a 50-80min player?
