Three are NPR's, not using them as reserves. But TBH, I'd usually agree with you 100%. Usually I'm very reserved when it comes to this game and wouldn't play the likes of Whitehead and Sue in a blue moon. But this year I thought I'd try a different approach. Worst it can cost me is trades and I usually end up with three at the end of the year anyways as I'm perhaps TOO reserved.

Gotta risk it for the biscuit!

I know they are NPRs, that's my issue. You don't really have anyone to come in for you if you have a late withdrawal of a suspension and what not, so you're forced to make a trade or take a rookie score. No depth is no good

Yup, I hear ya. It scares me too! Lol. But if I get a late withdrawal and I have that money up my sleeve, I'll buy a player. Otherwise I'll take the AE score for the round.

I have a full 25 players set to start this week (albeit MCK 18th man) so am prepared to chance it for the first week or so. I think I'd rather take the hit for one week losing say, 25 points due to having an AE, then spend the money on someone like Turner only to have him get injured again and lose me money or whatever.

In a week or two with the return of Burgii I'll get a better idea of both Turner and Carter for the Bunnies as well as Passi and a few others and if I feel I'm getting caught out then I'll make the change.

    1. Taupau + Auvaa(npr) (Feeney in 17)
    OR
    2. Turner + Mann (Feeney npr)

That is tough but I lean towards option 1 as I don't rate Turner. I would look at Green, Copley, B. Henry, Gutherson if you can get them over Auva'a. If not, you wont be the only one with Auva'a in the wings.

I'm happy with the Taupau pick Goondalf.

Auva'a may not be in the side but you won't be hurting to bad by playing Feeney as a lot of others will be as well. And Taupau has the possibility to go big.

I think the Taupau/Feeney score outweighs Turner and Mann's.

So I can trade CLaw out of my CTR's to run with Whitehead or Rochow in the 2RF. However I'd have to play Nathan Green in my CTR's and his job security is my biggest concern. Worth the risk or just leave it?

Aubo, Benry, Gutherson. Nothing too reliable in the backups there

One of my golden rules in NRL Fantasy for as long as I can remember has always been:

Thou shalt have Cam Smith in your team from Round 1 and in Round 1 he shalt be either your captain or vice-captain.

    Not prepared to run Gutherson?

Personally I am going to run Green this week and see how it plays out but each to his own.

I'd pull the trigger on CLaw just because of the things being said and the fact that it is JT coaching. I rate him alongside Hook Griffin as a fellow disaster master.
