Seems Slater a starter and Hampton dropping off bench for NAS, so fear for Smith owners have been allayed.

Also Williams probably moving to hooker to give Hodgson a rest when Austin comes on. Not looking good for 80min Hodgson, first round at least.

And tigers, halves, hooker, second row shuffle looks messy:
"Tigers set to be 1-17 but some whispers around that Lawrence will start at 5/8 due to Taylor not having confidence in Cherrington to play full 80 at hooker, Cherrington would start on bench with Littlejohn moving to hooker, Moses to Half, Lawrence to 5/8 with Lovett to start in Second Row."

Oh no don't like him confirming the rumours that Lawrence to 5/8 is a possibility. Ah the heck with it I panic traded someone out last year based on a rumour that didn't happen. I know I've got unlimited trades but it's only one week he'll do it if he does so I guess I'll just stick with him for now, nobody else is that appealing I can get now anyway.

Hmmm. 58 mins for Moeroa is pretty good. Got me thinking, if Watmough decides to reitre. Moeroa at lock for 60mins vs 80mins for Whitehead (assuming he gets it). Might wait a couple of weeks on that one to see what Watmough does.

Moeroa only got 58 minutes because Norman was injured and Edwards played at half from halftime onwards. He initially came on for Moeroa at about the 33min mark then Moeroa came back on for the start of the second half because Norman was injured. I would say on tonight he will only get about 50 minutes, Peats, Mau and Scott just play too many minutes for him to get much more. You are safer with Whitehead I believe.

So if whispers are true JLJ starts hooker then moves to 5/8 later? What chance of him playing beyond Rd 1 then as would prefer him at CTR than Hunt

You want to see what would happen if no backs et injured too.

40 extra minutes for forwards last night due to Norman going down.

Moeroa and/or Peats would have played less otherwise

This will happen for 20-25 minutes as Littlejohn is a bigger body. Then they will revert to their named team and Cherrington will play the game out. Question is who will Cherrington come on for? Grant? Sue then pushes up to front row and Lovett then goes to Lock? Then some more subs around 30-35 minutes. Sue off, Lovett/Lawrence off for Seumanufagai and Aloiai.

Just my stab at trying to see what Taylor does.

Wacko is only really repeating the already existing rumour. I'm not sure that it becomes more likely just because more people are saying it.

smh reporting Lovett will spend time at dummy half

yeah. if norman doesnt get injured maybe peats has a break. its hard to say. but my feeling is moeroa would lose out.

he got subbed off after 65 mins though. in normal circumstance you'd think he would come back on at X mins and finish the game out. guess the X

Anything could happen with J Taylor. I already had him in my side as don't see anyone better or chance of making money. Guess I'm banking on an injury to Brooks/Moses at some stage but also has a good/different DPP

He went off at about 33 mins only to return at halftime because of Norman. He will see about 50 minutes normally, and with Kenny Edwards going well could be closer to 45 maybe

yeah he looked pretty gassed. there were a few times the ball was being thrown around in attack and he just had no interest in getting involved.

i'm trying to stay optimistic as well haha.

Playing with ARey should bring out the best in him as he wont have the burden of being the sole play maker and wont have kicking duties to worry about so I hope we see his attacking fair come Sunday.
