Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 10
Was watching nrl 360 last night and toovey reckoned DCE average carries of 43 per game with Foran at 5/8 will definitely increase, but we could all have guessed that, but interestingly he said he would need to improve his organisational play a bit without Foran there. Not fantasy relevant but thought was interesting.

Yeah. 2nd half twice attacking in other half and he's 15 metres back with hands on hips. I was screaming at TV. Amazing score for what looked like no involvement. Half his tackles were 3rd man in cuddle the other tackler it seemedmy tv broke wrote:
yeah he looked pretty gassed. there were a few times the ball was being thrown around in attack and he just had no interest in getting involved.
i'm trying to stay optimistic as well haha.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 10
j fisher-harris from the panthers has posted on facebook that he is getting his NRL debut tomorrow.
not sure who drops off the panthers bench....
EDIT: actually nrl.com latemail has this:
Panthers: There is talk Elijah Taylor could drop off the Penrith bench and play NSW Cup this week.
weird

Last year he averaged 43 touches with Foran there and 48 without him.
Can he do a little bit more with the extra 5 touches? Historically, the stats say yes.

well I feel more comfortable with seggy if that's the case.
Although meant to be very hot in Canberra tomorrow afternoon, so he might end up getting a rest anyway (and then come back on and create havoc running at tired defenders)

dropping ET to NSW Cup. That's a bold move by Griffin there. First the supposed arguments with Seggy and now this, seems like he's going out of his way to stamp his authority on the team.

griffin is going to do to that team what he did to the broncos.
didnt elijah taylor leave the warriors to follow cleary because he hated the lazy attitude of most of hte warriors side? i find it hard to believe griffin would have a problem with taylor.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 10
I just compared last nights scores to the players ave from last year, and only Oates bettered his ave from last year for the Broncs but 8 smashed their last year ave from the Eels.
Peats 53 to 66
Mau 41 to 66 but had 5 TB and 5 OL
Terepo 22 to 48 but went from 27 to 39 min with 3 TB
Scott 36 to 45 but played the full 80 (increase of 10 min)
Moeroa 33 to 40 but and played 2 min less then last years ave
Alvaro 29 to 37 and got 6 more min
Gutherson, (only Eden could do worse then his last years score.........and almost did)
Taikairangi 24 to 32, but he won't do that very option
Forwards minutes of both teams likely inflated due to backline injuries

smh reporting Lovett will spend time at dummy half

Yeah true that and nobody seems to be reporting the same thing with Lovett tipped to play some dummy half too. I don't see why they'd come out and say Cherrington can play 80 if Taylor then changes his mind but then again it's Jason Taylor.

Exactly. We've got Rankin and Sironen in the 13 but apparently Lawrence is next best to fit into the halves .bluetige wrote:Taylors getting coaching tips off sheens

Could Peachey potentially play hooker to give Seggy a rest?

Well it was just the players saying CHerrington might play 80.
And here is a tip for you. Every player, if asked, will say he would like to play 80 minutes, or that he is 'building' to 80 minutes.
Its like training the house down, its something that always happens to everyone.

Yep. Bloke can play anywhere and I've got a feeling he was originally a hooker wasn't he?Birdy wrote:Could Peachey potentially play hooker to give Seggy a rest?

I thought he originally played Five-Eight. Either way Peachey can play anywhere on the field.

Apparently, Peachey has been seen training at HKR this week, but I stress this is only a rumour I heard

So what would you do?
$627k 2RF +WFB
Whitehead/Rochow + Ferguson/Mansour/Slater
Tapau + Rankin/Hunt
Heart says i really want Tapau, but heads telling me more upside with the others.
