Says here Isaako, Sexton and Fermor should be fine.

Three other Titans suffered minor injuries in the Macca's Local Derby but are expecting to be available for selection this week.

Beau Fermor finished the match with a right ab oblique strain, whilst Jamayne Isaako suffered a right shoulder hyper-abduction, but showed good strength post game and has been diagnosed with a low grade capsule / ligament strain.

There's further good news for Gold Coast playmaker Toby Sexton who left the field nearing half-time with a shoulder complaint. The young half was able to return to the field late in the game and was found to have only suffered left cervical spine stiffness with no further neurological symptoms.

He is expected to avoid contact training until later this week but will be right to play come Thursday.

EDIT:  Rev ninja'd the shit out of me.

The ole skool paste a pic combo

He also scored 37, 37, 30 and 33 in the month before that so while the 59 is nice I’d prefer someone who averages a little higher than that and plays 17.

With TPJ out he probably gets another shot on the EDG, where he looks like a gun, still has the work rate of a quality MID, but bigger minutes.

My 4 trades are looking like:
Haas, Cotter, Ilias, S. Crichton out - T. Harris, A. Crichton, Sexton, Keary in

Getting 2 halves allows Burton to ctr as currently playing in the halves. This gives me:

    Robson
    Harris, Butcher, Tapine
    Elliott, Fermor
    Keary, Sexton
    Burton, Tago
    May, Koula, Kiraz

Starling, TPJ, A. Crichton, M. King
    Rushton, Hynes, Cleary, Penisini

Umm, if you have Angus and Tohu averaging 55+ they are keepers. No point coming out of Round 17 with a team of spuds who played the bye. Need to keep some guns or you get run down from behind. Been there done that unfortunately.

I think if you are bringing in Tohu or Angus you are doing so as keepers, not as potential trade outs down the track.

We all know how disastrous injuries can be down the track, so likely wont have the luxury of moving them on even if they underperform.
Yeah I just did some math and I think it equates to maybe 30 more points at the expense of 2 trades so really not worth it at all l. Sorry guys taking up room in the forum 😂

Do you think he'll play on an edge? Or get named on an edge but play in the middle.

Don't think he is a long term hold, but no rush to sell with new coach and other injuries in the squad.

Depends who you get to bring in I guess

Bunty Afoa played 54 minutes on the weekend, when he's been averaging 37.6 mins this season, so a decent boost.

Is he the beneficiary of the Lodge and AFB injuries? Averages 46 when playing between 50-60 minutes in a very limited sample size.

Would take balls of steel or complete disregard for the remainder of your season to seriously consider for more than 2 seconds of course.

Was the beneficiary of Jazz and Murchie clashing heads, just after Bunty finished his stint, so he had to go back on the field to finish the game.

Didn't see the game, but others said King played his normal mid role on the weekend? Quick look at replays suggest he did.

His mins have been upped since Barrett left.

If I grab Tohu and Angus and they continue to average 55+ it will be hard to trade them to round 17 players when the time comes. Whereas getting someone that averages 45+ you’d be happy for their points and then be happy to move them on in 17.

I'm a big fan of that strategy, most years. Particularly if you get a player who can (at least temporarily) put up 45-50's and has a low BE, plays the bye makes 80-100k before jumping off to a rd17 gun. That's roughly the plan for me with Butcher unless he makes himself indispensable, and the plan others probably had for Elliott. Not sure if either are still a buy and it's slim pickings otherwise. Sexton probably fits that bill though as a punt. A good example of this was 2019 Connor Watson. He was promoted to starting hooker playing 80 minutes due to injury but looked to have probably only three to four weeks in the role. But capable of 50-60 with a low BE and played the second bye. Gave great scores, played the bye round, made 129k before jumping off to a proper gun.

Being injured doesn't mean he has lost his spot. You don't get named if you can't play.

Much more impacted by Cotter selection and Lolo injury. Likely to be the big minute MID this week.

Yeah Sexton looking like my one punt this week, begrudgingly going back there haha. Kinda hoping TPJ is out so I can get Tohu and Angus aswell

I'm thinking it's too late on Butcher, unfortunately.  Probably still worth a punt though. But one lower minute game could kill his price gains. Telling today where he's named with both Angus and Toup back.

Pretty sure he played in the middle mate. It's why they were trying to rort a HIA, they wouldn't do that if he was playing edge all game. But yeah he's possibly getting more minutes now.

Hoping he’s named at lock with Tauk back to prop and Collins to the bench instead of TMay.

But since we are very rarely allowed nice things it will be Sitili in and Butcher bench over TMay

Yeah Ming totally played in the middle. It was basically similar to his brother Jing but more PPM. Out there 60 mins then have an early shower.

    2. Jackson played edge, Ming middle.

He'll probably be lock because they're missing Collins so SST moves up to prop. Or they might start Fletcher Baker or one of the other kids and keep Angus and Butcher as named 2RFs and Sitili on the bench. And then they might change it an hour before kick off.

I suppose the good thing is that if you're trading out a player with a bye to get him you can actually wait until final teamlist to make a move. The best result would be him playing second row again because that suggests more job and minutes security.
