Despite the TU/TD, I think I'm going to do the Peoples to RFM trade for the following reasons:

    * RFM's stats starting on the edge are genuine keeper level, and that was before TOs or 4 point offloads.

    * Peoples is a dead cheapie, and even if he plays round 14 and 17 (best case), he won't make much money

    * I only have 8 players this week, and going early on RFM means a 9th one.

There is risk involved, and he could get benched for TPJ, but with the few trades I have left, I think this is a huge opportunity to get rid of a dead cheapie spot and have someone who could very easily be a keeper in your final 17.

Feel free to roast me as to why I shouldn't do it.

I voted TU but don't think it's a bad trade tbh. As long as you understand the risks, trading a dead cheapie to a potential keeper is a fair gamble.

Yeah I think it's a risk I need to take. I currently have three dead cheapies in my team (Billy, Vailea, Peoples) and the chance to get rid of one is huge. I think RFM is a genuine keeper as long as he has the edge spot. If I didn't think that, I wouldn't dare do it as I don't have the trades to be buying anything other than guns and cashouts

    TPJ to Tohu
    Ilias to Savage
    Walters to Robson

Cheap like for like replacement with Tohu. Cashing out Ilias and using it to fund Robson which improves my HOK depth.

mmmmm probably sensible to cool my jets and go Lolo to RFM next week if RFM puts up a score and holds his place in the team. Trade should still bank $130kish, dem R13 points tempting though

If it wasnt bye round and you had 17 players.

Would people be looking at RFM?

I also could go Peoples to RFM but waiting a week seems the move to make if you weren't focusing on byes.

    Trading Peoples to him, yes.

if I was trading someone who isn't a dead cheapie, I wouldn't do it.

Lolo plays round 13 so not losing any points though (it'll be a gain with no cotter)

I should say trading this week. Worse case I can see is he goes 50+ and you pay like 20-30k more knowing he has a spot in the team next week.

If you want him and trading a dead option you may as well do it this week when he’s likely to count in your 17 (assuming you are playing overall)

    Ilias > Savage
    TPJ > Harris
    Critter > Angus
    Schneider > Sexton

Leaves me with 13 for the round

Thanks for the heads up mate, I probably didn't articulate my musings very well..I'm definitely holding Lolo this week. Considering Walters to RFM this week, if Lolo in underwhelming again and RFM shines and keeps the role then Lolo to RFM on the cards for RD14

Fair point, though for me the issue is that if RFM makes more than 16k this week (so a score of 50+), then I can't afford to do that trade next week and also Hastings to Mahoney (most likely have to do that because I have Cook and Cotter as my only hookers)

not playing overall, so thats why its a tougher call. Still could work out though if he goes big makes some cash and then leaves me with 2 trades next week rather then 1.

fair punt. Just might be a burnt trade if he is straight out next week. Wont make your team any worse though (just a loss of 50k in the bank), as you have a non player regardless.

Who is the better trade in option for the long run, keeping in mind they’ll both play 1 of the bye rounds

    TŪ: McInnes
    TD: Crangus

Going Ilias to tohu and TPJ to whomever wins the poll
    Above.

TPJ has lost his starting spot, back spasms, dudes a maniac at the best of times so time to run

Yes that is the risk. I think he's highly unlikely to be out of the team altogether, but could get benched. That said I think it's more likely JJ moves back to the middle and Max gets benched, with TPJ and RFM as the starting edges

Why would he be straight out next week? Seems he has now shifted to his usual starting role on his return from injury. Can only see his minutes increasing from here.

Think I'll do Lee & Peoples to RFM & Savage - leaves me with arguably 13 players (unfortunately I'm missing some of the big guns like Aitken/Robson unless I trade someone like DCE - which ultimately may be helpful in affording Starling to Mahoney next week)

    11 trades, 17k (if 2 trades made)

    Starling
    MKing Crichton (c) Butcher
    Harris RFM
    Burton (VC) Tago
    Edwards Koula Savage

    The shit BSmith Elliot
    DCE/Cleary/Nanai/Hynes/Hastings/Haas/McInnes/IPap (Origin/bye)
