I got it mostly right, but it was never a slam dunk. Ultimately we got a bit lucky that his scores reduced, he could have just as easily belted out big scores for massive regret, and now a pretty unlucky injury to the other shoulder now. Would I trade him now? Not sure, would want more news.

That's why you're so high up in the rankings, because you sold Haas Trophy

    Peoples ---> Barnett

Gets rid of a red dot for a potential keeper who has bottomed out <$600k
Helps he's named second row again with Mann at lock.

Will wait another week to bring in Wennedy and Papenhuyzen.

Carrigan has gun level scoring pedigree.
    Tino doesn't

Butcher to Barnett in a straight swap after round 16 seems like a solid option

The key issue for Barnett is the presence of Fitzgibbon. Barnett is now starting because he has been dropped, but if he gets back in, Barnett would get benched most likely.

Buyer beware but if you think Fitzy is dropped long term, then he's a gun.

The dropped part is the kicker. Not an injury or a suspension, dropped.

Does Barnett go to lock and Mann bench utility if Fitz does come back?

Maybe, but Barnett is not a keeper when playing lock, he's only fantasy relevant playing 80 on an edge

Do I go Aitken to Burton? or Keep Aitken and get Burton in another way?

Is he too expensive after a string of monster scores?

That's a nice looking trade mate.

I'm looking at Friz, but think he's in for origin and that's his big draw

Reason to do it: Doggies have scored 98 points in 4 games since Potter took over, 96 in 10 games under Baz - Burton has scored 74 65 73 84 in those 4 games under Potter

Reason not to do it: He is 800k and buying high generally doesn't end well - this is where I currently stand.

I just don't like writing off a season like that only half way through.  What happens in 12 months when we still suck? Write off that season as well in June and just get flogged for 3 months?

Its not like we have quality up and comers begging to be given a start ahead of Leilua, and his 2023 replacement has already been signed, but we're 0% chance of getting iPap early.

Its just sad that since we last made finals, multiple teams have dropped below us, rebuilt, and then dropped below us again, and Tigers do nothing but enter a new rebuilding phase every couple of seasons.

You can always solve the problem of teams dropping below you by coming bottom.

Yeah I’m purely a basement purchaser this year so have to be a little savvy and hope things pay off.
Frizell a little pricy and surely plays game 2 and/or 3
