Here's the team

Nearly $300k in the bank
If Cheese does get 4 weeks he'll be moved on - what other moves do we want?
Which guns are within our price range, and anyone we should make serious moves in order to bring in?

Where just outside the top 3000, but with 6+4 trades remaining we have plenty of scope for movement
(this is probably the most restrained the community team has been since we started this)

Obviously just raking high is a goal, but if we want a target, we are now 2nd in the celebrity league
1st place is the discord community team, as follows
If we can overtake them to get the celebrity crown that would be a worthy season

Smith to Tabuai-Fidow
Penisini to Cherry-Evans

Cook and Murray would be the two I'd most be targeting (upgrading Mahoney and McInnis), but the week after Origin might not be the best time.

Unless you see him as a keeper, Penisini is an urgent trade.

HTF is still 14 when all the Cowboys are fit. Are any of them long-term out? Need players to be playable (room for one deliberate red dot, which would be a better option than HTF, but would probably involve more work the organisers with looping)

worth getting a set and forget centre to replace Penisini, like Aitken or Bird?

second trade (assuming B.Smith) is trickier - with Bird, we'd have $713k left, with Aitken, $622k left. I'd be tempted to wait a week and grab Haas when he's back or Grant (as long as he drops another $14k).

I could be looking at it wrong, but doesn't that leave Herbert as the starting CTR with no cover?

Love this idea

Team seems to be going well.

My initial thoughts are for DCE and a keeper CTR would round out our starting side and leave a bench of Mahoney, Walsh, Hughes and RFM. Everything else from that point onwards is just gravy. Only issue is I don't see anymore cash generation coming in so we'd just be re-allocating cap once Koula, BSmith and Penisini are traded out.

If we traded all three and got a 220k player with our current bank we could but 1,519k worth of players (maybe go Manu and DCE).

The other option would be to keep Koula as our second centre which means we'd have 1,258k to pickup any two players for BSmith and Penisini. DCE for 799k means we'd have to trade both (2k short of Penisini to DCE) and be left with 459k so maybe Gagai (or Rapana/other budget CTR) and run a CTR looping strategy between our cheap suboptimal guys that play CTR. So we could trade Kennedy in a week or two to a WFB/CTR red dot for looping and get an extra bit of cash (maybe 120k - his B/E is~3 this week). These funds could then upgrade RFM to a Barnett or similar.

Any other upgrades are going to need a downgrade to come with it as I can't see anyone else really jumping up in price.

Other Tradeout Targets:
Mahoney could make way for Grant or Cook if we can find the extra cash.
We have 4 WFBs - maybe we can get let go of Papy or Tedesco but I think both represent good value for their price point. Walsh could be an upgrade target if we can free a little cash. 70k would get us Barnett for example who should be more consistent.
McInnes and his minutes are a concern for me and at 690k maybe he could help fund a Murray or go sideways in price but maybe a few points up in average for a Haas or Curran. Lots of the rest seem very sideways. We may be better off identifying mid rangers that can go well and seeing what they let us afford.

I sort of want to wait until after origin before putting the poll up - but are there any/many origin players we are that concerned about?

I'd love Cook and DCE but its going to be tough to get both of them in
