They should’ve known better Manly in the first place tbh it’s why no other NRL club went with this kinda thing.

I back the 7 Manly players that’s their religion and beliefs I respect that and they have a right to stand by that, their personal choice you can’t take that away from them! It’s a very very sensitive and touchy subject.

Gambling is definitely against their beliefs so why do they play other weeks with pointsbet advertising on their jersey?

The Bible doesn't call gambling a sin as such, although the Bible warns against the love of money and get-rich-quick schemes.

There are loads of personal choices that are taken away from us in exchange for a paycheck. Nobody is stopping them living in the nineteenth century on their own time, but if they won't wear a few new stripes on their uniform in a public-facing job where their employer has decided to make a gesture of goodwill and solidarity to part of their community of followers, then they maybe should find something else to do that doesn't interfere with their "beliefs".

And "should have known better" meaning what? Should have known better than to try to do something progressive because it'll get pushback from a percentage of cranks?

Assuming it does in fact exist, any right to your own beliefs does not extend to bigotry and prejudice.

Zero trades with five rounds to go? crazy idea imo.

I'd just do one of the downgrades and one of the upgrades, and keep two trades up your sleeve, eg

    Mam - Tedesco or Haas
    Walters - Mbye

What if my beliefs are against war/military, can a player not wear the ANZAC jersey? You know the people all about personal choice and beliefs would be up in arms then. NOT THAT CHOICE!

It’s just bigotry and culture wars nonsense this.

Can’t be racist or sexist anymore so let’s try for some homophobia.

I think you are correct but I’m checking thru Leviticus now just to see if it clashes with any future NRL rounds.

It's not that far off what Folau did which got the papers stamped never to play again

Getting Teddy envy now. Could do something like Ponga/RFM to Teddy/Mbye.

Restores cover in all positions and leaves me with 2 trades for the run home

    Grant
    Haas, McInnes, Harris
    Ipap, Fifita
    Cleary, DCE
    Burton, Bird
    Hynes, Teddy, Dewey

    Moses, Lolo, Hughes, Barnett
    Booth, Mbye, Trindall, Matamua

For me I blame Boozecluez. when I started taking this seriously I read one of his old season trackers and he pretty much max traded then rode the gauntlet to a top 50(?) gaining ranks every week and benefitting from the earliest assembly of his optimal side

Every time I try it I end up gunning it too… until about R23, then the red dots mount and by R25 I’m playing with 13-15

Lucky we get 4 spare trades this week eh

Torn between 3 trades to get Teddy and Cook or just 1 trade to get Teddy

I think Ming has probably become a season hold at this point so it probably depends on Finucane outcome for McInnes

I think I’ll sell Edwards because I reckon he might cop a rest for Turuva because of Panthers lead at top
