But this weeks shenanigans could be good or bad both for him and the club. And part of the reason for feeling like a must have is last year's end of season form. Him and Turbo were unstoppable, but it's a different year and a different team, different game even. Can afford anyone else as an alternative. Murray, Tapine, Munster, Tedesco, Grant or even Reynolds are options.

Would anyone consider these guys over DCE?
    No.
I have a feeling they may come back a much tighter unit next week.
This week is gonna be a shit show though.

I mean, it's still possible they score about the same. If you're thinking of trading them it seems pretty sideways at this stage of the season with not many trades left.

Reads like your gut is saying get him in. The only one would be Ted over him or around the same must have territory for me.

Its kinda sideways but where Pookus is ranked, I'd be looking at the same trade. That one difference in player could cost a few ranks at the finish line.

Have the Manly 7 ever sung along to “we are the champions”?

Pookus isn't going to win it by having Ted when everyone around him has Ted. He's going to win it by having Garrick when Ted gets injured or scores unexpectedly badly and the guys with Ted can't trade him out.

Depends on whether he wants to consolidate his current rank or try to get as high as possible with the risk of falling a bit. (Although spending an extra trade to get Ted in is also a risk when another gun gets a season-ender in Rnd22 and you lose 100.points because you spent that trade dropping Garrick)

Part of me thinks he'll play out of his skin this week anyway. Just seems like that kinda guy. Still, it feels like a potential opportunity to make some ground and challenge those at the top.

I get all that, but looking at it for what it is, Garrick outscoring Ted is a big ask.

He'll put in regardless mate, he's definitely a competitor. He'll see this adversity as a challenge to test his leadership.

May, Koula, Ramsey > Murray, Haas, Mbye, gives me my final team (though it would have to be with only one trade spare for injuries Embarassed )

    Robson
    Murray Klemmer Haas
    iPap Crichton
    Cleary DCE
    Burton Aitken
    Hynes Garrick Latrell
    Ofa Elliott Tohu King
    Douehi RFM Mbye Pauga

Happy to pass on Cook at that price, still looks one Teddy short whichever way I slice it though

Agree with all that. But counter argument, Pookus is close enough that a few POD captain choices could have the same affect as POD players.

Intentionally going for the Steven Bradbury tactic of letting everyone ahead beat themselves.

    Bold strategy.

I really appreciate all the input. You guys have actually given me a pretty left field idea. Though it is Forbidden.

I have just the extra 4 trades spare with 58k and…

    Cook
    McInnes Tohu Lolo
    Ipap D. Fifita
    Cleary DCE
    Burton Aitken
    Teddy Hynes Trell

    Angus Elliot Moses RFM
    Koula Booth Kennedy Matamua

Rank was 601 two weeks ago but I’ve gone up to 403 rank.

Heading into round 20 now I have RFM, Koula and Matamua as red dots can go all out and do Koula to Mbye and RFM to Murray thoughts?

Then hold 2 trades for injuries and suspensions. In my position should I go for it?

Would leave me 2 trades and…

    Cook
    McInnes Murray Lolo
    Ipap Angus
    Cleary DCE
    Burton Aitken
    Teddy Hynes Latrell

    Angus Elliot Tohu Moses
    Booth Kennedy Mbye Matamua

Will be a trade out for me I think but will be waiting to see if I can get some use out of Ponga as a loop. First attempt Walsh vs Storm. If he goes 40+ I'll probably keep Ponga another week, if not I'll move to sort out some coverage (Gilbert seems best MID/EDG under 500k)

Collectable fantasy? where to get Nathan Cleary in your team you have to open him in a pack first?
