Best trade out of Barnett, McInnes, Moses, Hughes? Position/price doesn't matter. Cheers.

Got me wondering who has the record for most identical scores in a season.

First three my brain went to: Jurbo scored 52 four times last year.

Tohu scored 61 three times last year, and 63 two times (to go with a 62 and 64 to complete the set).

Cam Smith scored 72 three times in 2014 (8 scores total between 70-76, remarkable consistency that year) and 74 four times in 2019.

Any other submissions? Can anyone beat 4?

Moses Mbye a bit of a weird one - in 2021 he scored 27 three times and scored 19 four times.

There’s a consistency filter on NRL fantasy stats centre if you have paid coach subscription

I think it has to be Hughes or McInnes. Probably depends if you’re satisfied with McInnes floor when he returns to bench because he doesn’t have ability to really improve ceiling

In a similar boat between McInnes and Ming for trade to Cook. McInnes likely goes back to bench when Finucane returns but if/when LThompson ever returns Ming will likely suffer

    Seriously tough question

I think Hughes is likely the worst scorer out of those. Although he could be the best scorer if Munster gets injured.

2nd choice for me is Barnett, because it's hard to see him staying at EDG every game. It's a shame Knights play so late this week so you'll have to make a call early. Suspect he could end up playing lock.

The other two I would keep:
    - McInnes is the new Jurbo and will at least do a consistent job each week. Might also net a few extra points while Finucane is suspended. 45-55 from a 14-17 player is fine.
    - I'd also keep Moses, think he's the best scorer. Since the price doesn't matter would therefore keep

Yeah this is gross, would hold at R5 but at R20 it's probably a sell.

Apparently Ponga is not definitely out for the year yet, seeing a specialist. I already sold him in my cash NRLCeo comp, whoops.

Yeah before I input the scores thought you might be a chance since Aardvark said he forgot to trade and played Palasia, but nope

Shows the difference between a decent ranked team like yours vs an elite team like his (or you in previous seasons). 1 or 2 mistakes and getting 1052 is no joke.

Palasia > Murray was the trade so missed out on 48pts , all on me though as I rolled back my team and wasnt paying attention to look out by the time I worked it out teams were locked.

@mrbrownstone - hence my caveat and trying to explain or justify the post etc..

I know all that you have posted. So what's the answer ?
Because playing a sport like league and not going a 100%, or holding back because people might get hurt will not result in the game as we know it, or used to know.

A poster on the Bulldogs forum re RFM...rfm came over after the game & we spoke to him for a good 5-10 mins where he signed autographs & took pics. He didn't look to be injured or in any pain.
Hopefully he just has the 1 week off.

In order of trade to keep, I'd go: Hughes, McInness, Barnett, Moses.

Much of a muchness between those first three though, Moses probably the only one I'd definitely hold.

Moses probably. I didn't get Hughes 4 weeks ago to sell before Warriors and Titans games and his 44 avg since I bought not horrendous

I want to keep Barnett this week and hope goes back to scores at edge earlier

No fair enough mate, definitely wasn't having a go at you specifically, more a rant in response some of the discourse I've seen around on Twitter/articles/chatting to others haha

Genuinely don't know what the solution is, it's a bloody tricky one for all involved. I do think heavily penalising any head contact is the place to start though. Will be a tricky adjustment period, but players will adjust and tackle lower.

So with cash-gen more or less done as a primary consideration, where has everyone ended up?

Just had a look and the top (active) team as far as I can tell is in 1442 with a squad value of 14.737 mil.

Have ended up at $13.404 mil, better than I managed last year but probably still a touch below par.

Possibly Hughes, but I'm not feeling Moses for the run home.  But I may need to trade him over Barnett and Tolo so I may be biased.
