Feel like there's a great spread of captain options this week. Tossing between Teddy and Hynes personally this week but Cleary hasn't gone big in a little while. Think I might go the emotional hedge and captain Nicho lol

For whatever it's worth, I'm pretty confident he will. Casualty ward has Suli and Ravalawa both out until finals (if they somehow make it). All guesswork obviously, but surely he takes Bird's spot when Ramsay is back and Bird moves back into the pack.

Wouldn't be that shocking to see Bird stay at centre if he goes well this week. Burns has already been starting at second row the last couple of weeks and they have no injuries in their forwards so could make do without Bird if they wanted to. Hopefully very unlikely as a Bird owner but could happen

Yeah thats the crux of it....regularly playing cover which, at a pinch, provides you with 20 points at a cost of fuck-all allowing you to upgrade somewhere else

Upgrade for mine, but would also depend how many trades you have left.

Brooks ruled out for 6-8 weeks.

Douhie owners - rejoice. Last weeks pain was short lived!

I'd probably grab Anderson if the whole Nofo thing didn't happen.

From that list I think it has to be Pompey, only one with a secure starting spot.

However, to throw another name at you, would you consider Leniu?

Obviously has a low floor like the rest of them, but at least has a bit more of a ceiling on his day - scores of 44, 55, and 53 when he's barged over for a try this year.

actually yeah Leniu does look alright.

Hopefully will never have to play any of them but yeah could look at him too.

As i posted im slowly coming around to potentially missing Teddy and just getting Douehi instead and keeping 6 trades in the bag.

Would it be insane to captain DCE?

I just have this feeling that all the controversy might motivate/galvinise the players who actually do take the field and Manly might surprise us. I expect him to be in everything to try to offset all the outs.

not crazy but too many good options to take a punt on him as you never know how the game will go.

he is usually in everything anyway. i just think the risk that they get reasonably well beaten is too high. kind of player who can put up a 50 or 60 no worries in a badly beaten side but the chance of a 75+ has to be much lower than usual.

big punt! maybe I will do it.

Whilst not exactly a match up per se I will be keenly watching DK and Wills scores over the weekend to add a little more spice to my enjoyment both have played a very patient game and nothing between them, there could well be a Bradbury finish but the bookies have these two as equal Favourites and rightly so. Best of luck DK ( no pressure mate lol! )

Have been stuck on the Teddy vs Haas decision all week and still am... Might have to be Teddy just because I couldn't possibly watch the game tonight if I don't own him
