EDIT: Yeah markup on iMac is not the tool to do this with. I'm too luddite for this.

I imported Keith into kids messenger & put a rainbow sticker on him jocolor

    This looks a bit better

Edit : @Bludgers post is a ripper and give a 'real' Christian perspective rather than parroting Old Testament fire and brimstone. It shows understanding to those involved as well as recognising that the rationale behind their views is flawed.

I am a conscious atheist but I respect the right of people to believe what they want. There are a lot of good things about the way our societies are structured and operate that come out of the basic tenets of Christianity.

Where that respect ends is when a belief system tries to suppress alternative views or contributes to the marginalisation of others who don't share that view. Education and conciliation is always better than condemnation (it doesn't work in all cases however)

No one ever changed their standpoint because someone called them a kent.

The truth is, this is a complex issue and one that deserves more thought than simple sound bite statements of derision against either side.....

    The Bludger.

Well said and I think it definitely needs to be spelled out that criticism shouldn't be levelled at all Christians or the Christian faith.

I think most just get frustrated when it is used to discriminate against certain people/groups, when as you say that faith isn't about that when practiced and interpreted correctly.

A good lesson in taking the time to understand and respect people, regardless of your own or other people's faith, orientation, race or gender!!

That's my left hand and it doesn't see quite as much moisturiser as my right for some reason. Weird.

I do enjoy all of the footy chat and even copping a blast from Queenslanders at SOO time. So, I would miss all the fun.

The Panthers are going to get routed tonight. Clearly will only score 35. You heard it here first

This Manly episode just proves why politics/religion should not be mixed with sport. All identity politics does is separates people into warring groups & all you produce is hatred & more division. So all you do is push people apart not bring them together.

So you saying there is no room for playing sport at a religious school.... Seems a bit harsh mate?
