OK. Makes sense although you wouldnt think the NRL would allow them to use their name if they werent affiliatedKrump wrote:

It seemed like they had extra issues last night but kick defusals are never added live so fullbacks will always have a decent update. Coote was good for an extra 8-10 every week last year.
Yeah I can understand 10 points, a few kick metres and kick defusals, but 32 is pushing the boundaries. I like both the brothers so good on them

How long are the Turbos contracted for? It would be good to see Manly keep them.

Of to sleep to awaken to two completed games, really hoping for smooth sailing and no late mail surprises. Good luck all

I think I remember both of them signing new contracts towards the end of last year. I had Jake the majority of the season so kept up with that kind of stuff

I think the penalty is we screw up weeks of planning after a couple of beers and some half arsed rumour on the Internet. I think rolling lockout is good for late team changes but it certainly adds a lot of time to the game if you want to stay competitive - which can be tough with kids / wives / jobs and trying to maintain a social life etc. I think I would prefer a complete lockout from the start of the round with multiple auto emergencies available if required but that wouldn't please everyone either.

I don't mind rolling lockout. Just this first round where it's unlimited. Think it should count towards your trades for the season once the first ball has been kicked, but that's just me

Not too fantasy relevant but Jordan Kahu could be out for a month. That helps Greg Edens secure his spot longer for those who mistakenly picked him.

Was saying this in the Draft thread last night. We have the option of rolling lockout or not and last couple of years we have run with NO rolling lockout. We are voting on it and I reckon bringing back that old school skill would be better over there. Would hate to see it back in Fantasy and VS though.Krump wrote:Remember before rolling lockouts when you could just enjoy the footy knowing there was nothing you could do to your team over the weekend.charliemurphy wrote:So, after hearing that Cherrington might be benched,I panic traded him out for a gun at the cost of my WFB lineup. I did have Tedesco/Mann/Barba with Feeney and Mitchell NPRs. I now have Segeyaro with Mansour/Barba/Feeney starting. But the real question is, out of Segs, Rein, Luke or J. Friend, who has the most potential?

Does anyone have a decent grasp on how pricing works? I know it's early days as we don't know anything about Lichaa's injury, but if someone gets 10 points less/more than BE then their price goes down/up $8925?
Looking to see if I will have the cash needed to upgrade to Peats if need be

He should get a nice rest when he gets a week or two for that shoulder charge

Forum awards? Sportal kept crashing at the time so the results were never posted.Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:Does anyone have a link to last years awards. Feel like a nostalgia trip.

That's in total over a number of weeks. I think it's roughly 500 per point per week above break even.Showbags wrote:Does anyone have a decent grasp on how pricing works? This. I have 51k left. Will it be enough to uprade Lichaa to peats/segs, or will prices changes fuck me? Should I free up some cash now while I've got free trades?

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 11
So after a bit of digging I found Marty Tapau was charged with a Grade 3 Dangerous Contact - Head/Neck back in round 20 last year. He received 300 penalty points, and had no carry over points. So assuming he didn't have any other offences in the last 3 rounds of last year to generate carry over points he currently has 0.
I watched the highlights vid and his shoulder charge looks grade 1 at best, i don't specifically know what determines a grade 1, but it looked pretty minor with little impact or damage to Graham, no contact with the head (not sure, might even get off?). Assuming grade 1 he gets 200 penalty points + 20% loading for 'non-similar offense in last 12 months. Meaning 2 match ban plus 20 carry over points.
If he enters an early guilty plea he'll get 25% reduction on the base points (so 150 penalty points) and 25% reduction on any similar offense loading (so 15 points instead of 20 for loading??), meaning he'll get 165 points for an early guilty plea, one match ban and 65 carry over points??
Does that all sound about right? Was bored and thought I'd have a look at the ins and outs, don't really know.
