All the talk of downgrading hookers. Most people mentioning Garvey. Haven't heard anyone mention Parcell yet. Manly seemed a lot better when he was out there and his PPM is solid. I can only see his minutes increasing.

Cheapie/rookie wise it'd be Sione Katoa or Zach Dockar-Clay. More likely Griffin will opt for Peter Wallace at Hooker, Te Maire Martin to debut or Elijah Taylor in the No.9

Yeah definitely some wishful thinking from some. ET will slot in for sure, has spent time there before.Sik wrote:i dont think wallace's defense is good enough to be a hooker...

I might not be a bad option, though he is expensive, but he would do lots of work

Yeah he played a game there at the Broncos with Macca playing lock. Another failed Hook experiment.Bullbender wrote:

If that was the case and Lichaa out for a while would be able to move Jnik to HOK and TMM in for 1 trade

Ive got packer, Carter will be gone next week... I guess its a round of injuries, so youll pick Packer, then Surgess will go down with a detached testicle and carter will replace him for 8 weeks... and average 90!

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 11
Kyle turner played 4 games end of last season after coming back from injury and got over 30 tackles in all those games, one of those games he got 46 tackles.
He should be starting in the back row even if/when Surgess moves to lock. Should I really be worried about his injury risk?

Thanks for the replies. Am hoping one of the cheapies would get the gig. Wallace at no.9 is ok but wonder if he can handle the extra tackling. Taylor would have no problem.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 11
Good:
DCE - 50
Teddy - 55
Meh:
Parker - 50
Barba - 31 (cheap + will average higher)
Bad:
Roberts - 22 (though wasn't really involved and looked good when he was)
Whitehead - 32
Carty - 37
Woods - 44
Benry - gone already. Poor bastard.
Major plus: no key injuries so far. Benry was outside my 17.
Not looking at pulling the trigger on anyone just yet.
