I went the wrong way and took too long to bail out....starting with Angus and Reed as my gun forwards with backup from Lolo was a trench it took a long time to dig myself out of.

Once you hold them for 3-4 weeks waiting for them to come good the players who hit the ground running are out of reach $$ wise and you have to sacrifice a cow or two early to get them in.

You can recover from a shithouse start but it's a trudge and you have to take a few more risks than is sensible.

Still can't believe Mahoney was such an ordinary scorer though

Yep starting with Angus/Reed over Haas/Cook turned out to be a massive decision for the season

Overall rank 3050 in the end for me. Pretty shit, but I did just about throw in the towel because of real life stuff at round 20 so guess my expectations weren't massive lol. 87th out of 204 in the FOG isn't terrible though, I can stomach that.

This was my first season posting regularly (not as regularly as some of you absolute nut cases but I try) and was a blast. Can't wait to watch Souths steer to the premiership with you all

The love of nrl fantasy got me back into FPL this year but it really isn’t half as fun, tactical or as good

Nrl fantasy has a lot more moving parts which makes it interesting

Taylan May has been suspended, but suspension doesn't start until next year, so he gets to play in the finals this year first.

The NRL is fucking cooked. My son's U9 soccer comp has more integrity in how they run the comp.

NRL wrote:In proposing the timing of the match suspension, the NRL considered a number of factors including when the incident took place, the date at which the proceedings were finalised and the impact of a match suspension at this time of year.

Its similar to the start of the year, where they allowed the All Stars game to count a a suspension, after they'd already told Rapana that it didn't.

Or Annesley changing the rules about a captains challenge after the fact to explain the Cowboys Tigers result.

They just make it up as they go along.

Amidst the debauchery of my weekend, I actually think I spent more time thinking about your Fantasy rank then any other one thing DK Love Well done mate!

Some deadset amazing results from a few of our other favourite Fanatics as well! Not going to name them as in true softcock fashion I'm sure I'll leave someone else and then feel really bad.

Well done to all on another amazing year on here.

joan taufua mother of payne haas has been jailed for 9 mths for too many violent assaults...voilence is taught so this angry nutter behaviour obviously rubbed off on payne.

One of the very few things that I have to agree with PK on.

Absolute disgrace. How can they justify this?

To be fair to the NRL the same journos slamming them for this call are likely the same journos that thought suspensions shouldn't count for Origin and Finals in the first place.

You can make a case that NRL suspensions shouldn't count for origin - much the same way that EPL and Champions league suspensions are treated separately. Finals are definitely part of the NRL comp though

But if they've deemed something is worthy of a suspension, allowing clubs to delay that suspension to when it doesn't matter is just ridiculous.

If Taylan May gets injured this week, can they ask to bring the suspension forward so that he will be free to play round 1?
