If anyone else is wondering what the badass song in the background of the Fox finals promo video is, it's Dream On by Aerosmith. Fkn voiceover guy wouldn't stfu for 2 seconds so I could make out the lyrics. Spent ages going through Stones and Zeppelin songs trying to find it. Criminal that it wasn't in my collection already.

Yes mate, a lot of them. If you cant see them it might be because of the posts count limit that the mods implemented (contrary to popular belief, i am no t a mod).

You need to have made a minimum of 30315 posts on the forum to view ALL the threads

Currently on (C)leary. I think my NRLW selections have ruined me after the first week, haven't really watched any footy (either gender) the last 2-3 weeks due to life, but at least I have historical context for NRLM.

EDIT: Latrell Mitchell gamble? Reckon he'll be fired up, either a try and 3 try assists or sent off. Maybe both.

Yes, criminal that you didn't know the song already although I'm on the older side of those on the forum.

Trying to think of songs in a similar vein but it's pretty unique. Hard to tell it's Tyler's voice until he cranks it towards the end.

Haha yeah, I was on the verge of asking in here when I finally guessed the "dream on" lyric and Aerosmith came up in the results. Still hard to believe it's Steven Tyler, but I figured I would probably already know the song if it were Plant or Jagger. Only have Jaded, Walk This Way, Don't Wanna Miss a Thing and Dude Looks Like a Lady in my Aerosmith collection until now. Might have to look a little deeper.

Cheers mate, will check them out! I forgot about Janie, a mate used to play that a lot. Mama Kin is probably the one that GnR covered and I think Love in an Elevator I might recognise. Probably heard a couple of others but didn't click that it's Aerosmith or too young at the time to appreciate it.

I've been bedridden with shingles since last Friday, so a good time to binge some new old music

Oh and Pink I used to hear all the time as a kid I got kinda sick of it. Bit like TNT or Here Comes the Sun, Come Together etc. Definite classics though.

I'd just like to extend my thanks to you all for all the expertise and a good bit of banter during the year.

I'm sure I don't contribute enough to the forum but appreciate the information that I can leach off all of you. I feel I really lack the insight that so many of you have and being based in WA, I often feel like I'm a couple of hours behind you guys catching up on the discussion after it's occurred. I can always think of a hilarious response 2 hours after it's relevant.

Anyway, I finished the year at rank 509. And I largely owe it to all the wisdom I suck from this board, along with a healthy bit of luck.

That's the name and song on Joe Perry's first solo album. Fun song and I'm not obsessed any more. I'm not sure Aerosmith released this before Joe Perry did?
