    I mean during a game ?
I’m thankful all the Burgess boys played for Souths. George has obviously had a shorter career than Tom but George took the NRL by storm. That try in the 2014 GF still gives me goosebumps it’s a moment I’ll never forget etched in South Sydney folklore.

Re fantasy I think Izaak Thompson will get first crack on right wing for Souths next year if under 300k could be worth a look. He’s a strong runner of the ball as well. On Davey Moale I think he will get a few more mins in 2023 but I don’t think he will be fantasy relevant til the year after. A cheapie to watch out for should one or two injuries hit us in the backs is Josiah Karipani there are big wraps on him.

If fully fit I expect this: Trell, AJ, Campbell, Tass, Thompson, Cody, Ilias, Tatola, Cook, Sele, Keaon, Arrow, Murray..... Havili, Tom, Host, Moale...... we also have Mamozelos, Ta’affe, Hawkins, Milne, Karipani, Kalokalo, Chee Kam, Sulaka Fifita, Shaq Mitchell, Cartwright, Knight etc all as depth a pretty strong squad.

Our draw is hard first 10 rounds but I expect us to finish somewhere between 3rd and 6th. I will say we finish 4th.

Not sure how I'm gonna handle the bye rounds this year, abit worried if you have a few too many player with an early bye will stunt the cash generation. Got a feeling most of my 14-17 will be dolphins. Will need two captain. Options with clearly having an early by. Should be an interesting year

There was a real Brad Davis who played a bit of NRL for the Titans but was mainly a QCup player. Not a good fantasy prospect.

Can I be Rod Reynolds ? Has a nice ring to it. Sounds like a bloke who will get into a bit of strife in Cancun but not too much and can play a bit but could be better if he applied himself.

Dear AI, what is an effective trading strategy for Fantasy NRL?

There is no one-size-fits-all trading system that is guaranteed to be effective for playing NRL fantasy. The best approach will depend on your personal strategy and the specific players and teams involved. However, there are a few general principles that can help guide your trading decisions:

    1. Look for players who are in good form and have a history of scoring well in fantasy NRL.

    2. Keep an eye on injuries and suspensions, as these can affect a player's availability and performance.

    3. Consider the overall composition of your team and how a trade would affect your balance of players across different positions.

    4. Pay attention to the bye rounds, as this can affect the availability of players and how you manage your team.

    5. Monitor the news and developments in the NRL, as these can provide valuable information and insights to guide your trading decisions.

Ultimately, the key to a successful trading system is to stay active, be flexible, and make decisions based on the best available information and your personal strategy. By doing this, you can position your team for success in NRL fantasy.

Agree with Thompson, scored 20 meat pies in 16 appearances in reggies last season after a 5 year hiatus from the sport (Souths weren't anything special either, finishing with an 8-8 record). Averaged about 145 run metres and a few TBs for good measure. 43.8 fantasy average all up so would be an easy NPR/WFB3 pick.

This is really appalling, players cant get contracts for 2023 because clubs still don't know what the salary cap will be, or what they will need to have as minimum contract values (there are rumours that the minimum salaries for contracted players could almost double from $80k to $150k!)

"I’ve never been to a club where everyone has been this fit" - Jacob Liddle

I'm aware this is likely just the usual media platitudes from a new player - he's hardly going to say the new club is the same or worse than the old one - but it did crack me up wondering how bad the Tigers are if a player is impressed by the Dragons training setup.

Dunno about Wedesky but the rest rings pretty true. Would 100% believe you if you'd told me a centre called Wilbur Tuivasa had carved up U20s Origin this year. And Brad Davis seems like the kinda half that doesn't quite make the cut in NRL due to lack of size and pace but has a long and distinguished QCup career. I'm sure I could make up plausible back stories for the rest if I had the time.
