35 points in his first stint. Looked great out there.

    Nice one Panthers Rolling Eyes

They'd at least be the best Saints in the NRL

I was about to ask which Mid is the best value as my third? Carrigan it is then!

I think they did really well in there two games, even though many will fob it off as warm up preseason stuff. They took both games very seriously and looked decent atleast. Fun to watch.

He really isn't. Also, Crichton is just not a fullback however much he insists he is.

I like his returns as FB, but yeah he is sometimes out of position.

Carrigan (33) and Haas (41) both killing it at halftime. Brisbane with a late bye, I wonder if its not crazy to run with both.

Both had a couple of offloads.

    Carrigans were early on, quality.
Haas were both off disjointed attack with nothing on

They're a good side. Roby and Walmsley are absolutely world class and have been for a decade (nearly two decades for Roby). Both would have killed it in the NRL. Telling that Penrith got back into it in the ten minutes Roby was off the field... he really is Cam Smith level for defence, service and organising a game, though Smith pips him on kicking and referee management.

But you can tell how good they'd actually be in the NRL by the level of their ex-NRL players - Sironen, Hurrell, Matautia, Hopoate. They all played pretty well tonight, but if they were on your first 17 roster for the season you wouldn't feel that happy about it.

Welsby should definitely be on everyone's radar. Don't think he'd be a superstar NRL fullback or 5/8th but would be better than a lot of teams' options.

Even just looking to offload is promising for him though, he gets his insane scores only averaging 1 per game. He could really go up another level if he picked up an extra three-pointer or so

Was it the first game of last season where he threw four offloads and we were like omg, is this going to be regualr? And it wasn't.

However the fact that he's not getting up from every tackle wincing and holding his shoulder is big improvement on last year.

Broncos and cowboys basically give themselves an extra round in the nrl season. Both teams take this a bit too seriously

Australia has a first innings lead of 1 run. I think we need to take that as a win!
