My latest draft has Turbo I’m hopefully leaving this now til TLT:

    Cheese
    Haas Tapine Nicholls
    E. Butcher Katoa
    Cleary Douiehi
    Thompson Alamoti
    Turbo Miller Warbrick

    Boyd Hopgood Loiero Ford
    TMM Momoisea Talau BMM

I do not think I can go AKP his base is poor and he needs tries to be relevant and Kelly is back round 3 it smells trappy  to me.

What's your reasoning for Cleary over Hynes, out of interest?

Just Cleary is Cleary feel like he might do even more now with who they have lost. Do you think Cleary is gonna start slower?

I assume you’re going Hynes? Talk me into him… and why he won’t regress a bit!

Also do you like the team overall?

I don't know, I'm still tossing them up. Had a chunk of spare coin in a draft I liked, so could easily take in the price difference.

Don't see any reason for Hynes to regress. There's more reason to think Cleary's scores will change either for the better (more responsibility, injury healed) or worse (team missing Api, Kikau, May, maybe Edwards; less space, fewer tries/GKs).

In truth they'll probably score similarly. Maybe Cleary will score a little more. But you'll be trading Cleary to Hynes before Origin, so is it worth that extra trade?

Thinking aloud. Not sure which way I'll go.

I am going Hynes over Cleary, I am thinking the Sharks are on the rise and the Panthers are on the wane.

I am selecting no Warriors, Dragons or Knights to start either.

Going to start Holmes and Tommy and skip all the junk 300k ctr/wfb merry-go-round, I can see people burning trades chasing the ones who go big, but erratic.

I am open to jumping on a Tago cashie like last year, but I am going to try and avoid Cashy roulette, with all the byes, I think you are better locking in a keeper for each position.

I have Holmes and Alomoti in CTR, and will use either HSS or Thompson on the bench dependent on TLT.

I was keen on starting with Walsh but if he is out I wonder if its worth finding the cash and starting with Teddy. Dolphins at Suncorp and the Warriors in Sydney. Two fun games to be a Teddy owner

WFB wise I'm strongly considering starting with To'o.

May had a big impact on his scoring last season, think he bounces back nicely with May out.

I think he's pretty safe priced at 38, can't see him losing value, but with nice upside and I'd love to lock one "safe" WFB like that in (without paying the Teddy price).

Downside of course is the RD3 bye but it can be managed. It might work out better trying to get him in for round 4 instead but who knows how many fires (duds) there will be to put out in the team by then.

Only four sleeps to TLT. I am going to keep at least half of my body awake at all times so I do not miss any relevant news until then

Wouldn't discount it but surely full strength with no injuries is 1. Teddy 3. Latrell, 4. Turbo, 6. Luai, 7. Cleary, 14. Wighton. Burton probably ahead of Nicho in pecking order too, whether he should be or not.

Chances of "no injuries" are admittedly slim.

Thought this was linking to Dolphins team news. Was disappointed.

I haven't really drafted much of a team but I see no reason not to go both Cleary and Hynes. TLT may throw that out the window but at the moment, it's both for me.

    230k, will he be named?

I think he gets a bench spot. How many minutes anyones guess. could be 50 with rfm going to middle or it could be 20 but either way he is very highly rated and is first up if anything happens to kikau or rfm

He averages 120 KM a game from fullback. That's 5 points a game he's probably losing and his GK points where he averages 2 per game (4 points)

Welshy, kick metres reduced to 1 point per 30 last year

Stats from 2022 take this into account. Stats from 2021 and prior don't

    Hey all,
Wanted to bounce the idea of running k. Tualagi off everyone any negatives or positives ? He looked pretty solid by eye in trials not sure if that translated to stats. Just not sure about the job security if he would see more mins ect thanks in advance to any response.

At Tigers his quality didn't really translate to stats, and he also seemed to get injured a lot with a worrying amount of HIAs.

Looked great in the trial for Manly though and don't see any job security issues that stop him being an 80-minute edge as long as he's fit.

I'm going Hynes, at least until the Shark's bye, just so I don't have too many Panther's in the team for their rd3 bye, with Kenny, Garner, and Turuva being POIs
