Do a late trade to Mann once teams are announced

Hmm, I could go LAM down to Packer and Slater up to Dugan. If Dugan plays centre throughout the season, though, he has significant downside.

Yeah i have Seggy and Lichaa. Wrote in the last thread that i would put JNiko into Hooker and bring in C.Walker, and then possibly upgrade LeuLuai to Carter.

Would leave me with JNiko as my starting hooker and 4 reserves would be Evans, Grant, Whitehead and Walker. Since those are gonna be the big boom players i feel it would be best to get on now instead of spending more cash on my hookers

Alright, I'm off the LAM Train and on the Packer Express. Just frees up too much handy cash.

43 according to the Prospectus. He is priced at 47 though, so it would be a poor pick.

could you not wait on one of Peats/Smith and sacrifice the points for a week and get one of the boom 2RF like Carter, Turner etc before their price begins to skyrocket? As in Smith and Peats $ won't increase by as much as the lower priced 40 2RF scorers

It is a possibility. but I'm already behind the 8-ball in terms of points due to Lichaa/Seggy and a couple other duds. If I replace them with Garvey/Randell and Turner/Carter but no gun that could just hurt my points even more.

Also - doubt I'll go Turner, his injury history just scares me too much right now. Carter had a good game yesterday but worried about continued output.

Bit sad because Peats, Carter, James Graham and a few other of this rounds big scorers were all in my team at some point in the past 2 weeks.

Yep, about 43. Someone asked me on the last thread why I was considering Dugan in a Lichaa to Garvey, BHenry to Dugan trade if Lichaa's gone for a while. It's because he'll be defending next to Benji so should be getting Aitken's defensive stats from last year but with added Dugan offence. That's the theory anyway, will be watching carefully tonight.

not completely fantasy related, but I thought Taukeiaho was the Roosters bets forward yesterday. Didn't really translate into much fantasy points though

Will he get a run in the starting side any time soon?

If Aubbo's defensive reads next week are as bad as they were yesterday there is a very real chance Tauk will start on the edge

Not just Fantasy wise but as a fan I was shocked with how atrocious his defensive reads were. McInnes strolled through paper thin defence from Aubo and he was responsible for the GI try and another line break or two.
Still Taukeiaho was our best forward going up the middle. He should start instead of Liu in my opinion.

Or would you guys suggest fixing both my hookers as a priority? Kind of makes my stomach turn having to waste two trades on poor starting picks, should have just played safe hmmm

Lichaa looked well set for a big outing and I'm very reluctant to dump him but anything more than a month he might have to go, can see what you are saying but how important are points over price rises this early? Plus if Carter plays like that agin the points differential won't be massive either, worry with Carter is his minus points in games where he might not be involved as much! he just flys out of the line too much, I have Turner but seriously considering going to Carter because I can't see him lasting after watching that game, went down about 3 times

McInnes didn't even throw the dummy, I was shocked that he just walked through.
Really like Taukeiaho coming off the bench to bring some impact to the second unit. Moa was a shell of his former self yesterday. Hope it was just an anomaly or he might be ready to hang the boots up

Kennar played QLD Cup yesterday... Not sure what the go is there.

Edit: way too slow... sorry guys.

He will see a lot if ball and will get the Aitken defensive stats as mentioned its a viable option mate and if Mann bombs they simply swap, shores up a tough position in the process also

he looked real bad. when he first came on he made two embarassingly bad efforts. reynolds strolled right past him first and then inglis brushed past him (and aubbo?) to score.

i think tauk remains on the bench because they need that punch coming on late in the half.

Need JWH to come back asap. Such a leader in the forward pack. Controls line speed and is the lead communicator in the line on defense. Cordner slides way better than Aubbo so will shore up that middle 3rd
