Annoyingly, HSS is CTR only and will stay that way unless he's named at wing in the team lists, which will only happen if Rapana is fullback.

True. In my plans I would need HSS to get WFB or McLean to be named and play him WFB and HSS CTR. TLT with tell all.

And think my brain just had an acronism

Imagine for a second that mattnz talks up a player. A player who is overpriced based on his 2020 and 2022 scores. but who went on a good run in 2021 and scored 1.7 tries per game. If mattnz recommended this guy, the usual suspects would be here within minutes to make the same snide comments they make every time he posts.

I think it would at least make people reconsider trbo if it happened

Any merit in bringing in BS9 after his bye? One could argue he won't have that much tackling to do for his first two games if they go how some are expecting.

So highly owned though, could be in some trouble if he guns from the start.

    Team List Bloody Tuesday

I can't believe the news today
Every time I close my eyes, news of an injury

How wrong, how wrong was my pre-dict-ion?
    How wrong? How wrong?

    Because tonight
    We must stay up late
    Tonight

Nicho Hynes out; I feel down-beat
Centres priced 230 thousand are a dead-end street
But I won't heed the dodgy call
There's no chance your bench play-er scores fifty-points at all

    Team List Bloody Tuesday
    Team List Bloody Tuesday
    Team List Bloody Tuesday
    Team List Bloody Tuesday
    Alright, let's go

    And the battle's just begun
There's many lost, from the team list in round one.
Our base price benchies did not get a start
Our hookers, halves, centres, forwards torn apart

    Team List Bloody Tuesday
    Team List Bloody Tuesday
How wrong, how wrong was my pre-dict-ion?
    How wrong? How wrong?

'Cause tonight our teams are un-done, tonight
Tonight, tonight (Team List Bloody Tuesday)
Tonight, tonight (Team List Bloody Tuesday)
    Alright, let's go

    De-spise the ear-ly round byes
    Re-start your team today
    Re-start your team today
Re-start your team today (Team List Bloody Tuesday)
De-spise the ear-ly round byes (Team List Bloody Tuesday)

    Team List Bloody Tuesday
    Team List Bloody Tuesday
    Team List Bloody Tuesday
    Team List Bloody Tuesday

And it's true were not immune
From all the mid-range and cheap banality
And today we just ask why (Team List Bloody Tuesday)
We pick so many teams, and then we act surprised {about} (Team List Bloody Tuesday)

The real battle just begun (Team List Bloody Tuesday)
Tonight your team will be undone (Team List Bloody Tuesday)
On Team List Bloody Tuesday, yeah
    Team List Bloody Tuesday

No way, I don't like the idea of baking trades into my initial team selection. So much changes when they actually start playing that you're incredibly lucky to be able to carry out those plans.

Could just as easily barge over for a dummy half try.

As an aside, does the matchup thing ever really work in practice?

Also, the Roosters are traditionally poor in round 1. In recent years they've lost to the Knights and the Tigers (and Panthers and Souths)

Wouldn't be surprised for Dolphins to at least be quite competitive

Come on Milch. Just not the same is it

Only season he’s scored under his current average was back in 2015.

Literally only risk for Turbo scoring below his current price is injury, which is obviously a very real risk

People are considering and reconsidering Turbo? Nobody is saying he'll score 150s, or average 80. Nobody is saying *anything* with certainty, which might explain the previous lack of snide comments.

There are arguments for and against him. I (and some others) think he's a decently priced high upside pick with high risk of injury but little risk of actively bad scoring. Others might think differently. All is well.

On another note, Poms need 205 to win on a last day pitch against the Black caps.

In seriousness, I think most of "the usuals" are usually playing the ball, not the man (i.e. the idea/ concept). Alternatively, they could just ignore Matt or disregard what he says. But Matt sometimes had some thought provoking ideas, whether we agree with them or not, they can be engaging, and alternative ideas on here provide richness to the forum.
