Hymel Hunt is WFB/CTR DPP and 250k I think I like him better than Talau but I cannot work out what happened to Marzhew

    Any idea.

I am also thinking of taking a punt that Sebastian Kris will score better at FB than CTR. He will be DPP and seems a surer thing than Tabua-Fidow

I don't see the stats back up for selecting Walsh?

Will need to be a gut selection where he elevates his scoring from additional tries/attacking points

Will lose GK points and some KM from his current average, so already slightly behind his current priced average

Walsh getting a lot of love, but what are people expecting?

He loses goalkicking, and also had a bunch of general play kicks that will surely happen less whilst Reynolds is in the team.

His 2021 average of 48 included 3 points of goal kicking, 6 points of general play kicking, and 3 tackle busts per game which are no worth 1 less point.
1 offload a game which could be a couple extra points

So are people just expecting more attacking points now that he's at a better club? Or will he retain enough of those stats to still present a bunch of value?

Pure gut feel for me, the kid has a bit of magic about him.

I think he plays 'enough' minutes, I'll probably run with Uto

As a Tigers fan, I don't really like both Simpkin and Kepoa on the bench, wonder if that will change by final team lists

Sometimes the gut is just right.

Good luck guys, these are always the best picks when they pay off

He didn't play last 2 years but averaged 30 in 2020, so may not come in base price.

He's also just warming a spot for Justin Olam

I looked at Hunt earlier but with Miller already in my back 5 could be niggly for bye coverage (even though it’s R10) which is what has Talau in the 21 slot for me at the moment

I didnt realise Uto was under 400k, assumed he was 550 for some reason. Very interesting. Has to be considered

I can see parallels between Walsh of 2023 and Hynes of 2022.
Not that Walsh will be top scoring fantasy player this year, more just the vibe around improved scores.

Walsh being part of my short list, is more of a gut feel.

Walsh is a ‘the romance of rugby league’ pick for me…..to offset Doorey, Garner etc
