Comments from those who actually watched would be sweet

    Warriors Knights
    - CNK good
    - TMM bad
    - Egan solid but a try, not must buy
    - Barnett - what was his role?
    - Ford good? 80 minutes..
    - Harris a must buy?

    - Miller solid
    - Ponga shit
    - Hastings solid
    - Frizell RIP amateurs

    Panthers Broncs
    - Cleary quiet? What’s doing?
    - Kenny big minutes big score - assuming he moved to middle?
    - Garner TRAP
    - Yeo solid
    - Luke good but scored a try so temper expectations?

    - Staggs RIP talking league
    - Reyno relevant?
    - Haas good
    - Carrigan really good for price - about par with Harris as a trade in? Or score dictated by close game
It’s funny how these podcasts really promote specific players. An HIA could be considered unlucky, but choosing Staggs over Farnworth is just crazy. Another I listened to was on the KP train. At least every podcast got the Hopgood should be in 100% of teams thing correct!

Had a quick look at a few previous posts and looks like I'm on the same page as others. Garner wasn't a complete tragedy tonight and I still think he could score okay in coming rounds, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little relieved to have a clear candidate to swap out for the lowest BE (with future prospects) next week. Barring any injuries, I can't see anything that will stop me doing this. Not because I hate the dude or don't think he'll score okay, but it seems entirely sensible to swap him out for a far cheaper and better option to get on the right path early on. Hopefully get a bit of early cash in the bank too.

Elsewhere, everything else going okay. Haas, Carrigan, Miller and Ford all delivering the goods.

    Otherwise;

CNK - ouch. I guess he won't score a try every week, but ouch. Looked solid.

Ponga - was so close to swapping Teddy out to give me a bit of cash to play with (and genuinely thinking he'd go well). I actually think he looked good at times, and obviously massively hindered by HIA, but happy to see how he goes for a little while.

TMM - ended up using him to swap out to Teddy. I feel like I'll be pleased to not have to deal with him... I think.

Frizell - had a bit of interest from punters, didn't he? Very shit for owners, no doubt.

Curran - wow is he going to be cheap should he become relevant again. If this keeps up...

Kenny/Luke - either way, you'd have to be happy with that.

Cleary - (C)Hopgood for captain next week?

Mam - not really an option, but he looked good tonight.

And serious question... how long before Titans need to name a Fermor replacement? I always thought it was a pretty immediate thing, but no?

Sorry, that was all a bit pointless, but just my debrief as I remove my pants for the night.

I haven’t even seen 11 teams yet, no idea if it’s their easiest game. I get a lot of people here have crystal balls, and talk about this stuff like we shouldn’t even bother playing the games because it’s all pre-determined, but I’d like to give it some time.

Not sure fixtures are particularly relevant to how forwards score in fantasy anyway

Not until tomorrow at 6:15pm when they have to name their 24 hour squad.

Cool. Am I mistaken in thinking that usually when something like this happens, they change the squad line-up as the news breaks? Or has it always happened with players/games that have fallen into that 24 hour timeframe?

And while we're on the subject, I should mention that when I saw this story I was so bummed for Fermor. I find him to be one of the most under-rated goes-about-his-business-without-much-fanfare type of guys in the game. Very good player with a lot on the horizon - really sad to see it happen to anyone, but particularly someone in his position in the game. Hope he comes back soon and takes up where he left off.

Cleary gained a tackle, lost a missed tackle, 4 extra run metres points, 1 extra kick metre and a forced drop out.

I salute you fantasy gods.. aka the scorers, Nathan Cleary and fantasy legends of the past.

7c/497 is a nice welcome back. Only 4 in action tomorrow with Trbo, Trindall, HSS and Alamoti, so I'll take anything over 100 combined there.

No one putting their hand up for a trade out yet, but Uto could make way for a missed cow if he doesn't perform.

Garner looks lost in that Panthers side. I wouldn't be surprised to see him with less minutes or gone completely in coming weeks. Twice now he looks clueless.
