Is the narrative seriously that he is injured because he got tackled hard? Anyone that has laced a boot will be able to tell you that the tackles that look the biggest are not always the ones that hurt the most. And the ones that do hurt are typically recovered pretty quickly

Some of the reactions to Smith have been wild. Feel like some people have lost their minds a bit (I'm talking more some of the fantasy podcasts, not calling out anyone specific on here).
The narrative has been that he 'didn't get the role we wanted', completely ignoring that he had an HIA, Radley and Lodge both went off injured, AND Robbo telegraphed that he wouldn't play 80 straight away. It's like people wanted him to be a bad buy and are looking for any reason to justify it. So weird.
If ever there was a case of wait and see. Hope he does what Garner did last night to those who sold.

Yeah I’m not saying there aren’t reasons to sell him but “he didn’t get the role” is BS and “rib injury” seems BS. It’s hectic given this time last week he was probably in the same peoples must have, no brainer picks.

Just went Butcher Smith to Robson Cartright
Does seem like a big knee jerk move but its moving 2 guys on who will probably still do very well but Ford Cartright making cash and Robson a keeper where as the other guys likely wont be and have the bye coming up.
thats my rational

Robson is going to have huge ownership in round 13, has no byes between now and then, its just a matter of when, not if you get him.

Yeah, I kind of see these as team correction moves.
I have Trindal at 18 right now so Butcher out and Trindal in shouldnt be too big of a loss. Cartright also now sits at 18 spot.
only way i can massively regret this is if Smith matches Robson, Carty fails completely and then Butcher goes 50+ from here on.
