    ROUND 9 TRADES

    Corey Norman
Undervalued main play maker/Kicker and plays all 3 byes.
Had decent base stats and with the uncertainty around Taylor is only a small upgrade from him.

    Brock Lamb
Cheap cash out for TMM who is out for the season, will get some time and provide some bye cover.

Overall with 385k in the bank gives me plenty of options in the coming weeks while waiting for players to top out and get milked (Aubo,Hastings,Parcell,CLaw,Grant,Holland)

    Apologies for the late update.
Have been contemplating and waiting for news to come through (regarding certain players to target and bring in).
Made a late minute clutch call in bringing in Norman after helping research for others.
Was always looking at him but decided I needed to strengthen my halves so looks to have worked out well. As for Lamb, will keep an eye out before game to confirm starting role but looks to be a go.

Munster last week and now Norman. On a roll

    Onwards and upwards

Thanks guys, yeah this game is part luck, part watching games, part taking advice and being open to suggestions and the last part is going with your gut.

With the 385k will look at a partial upgrade to Hastings to someone like DCE or Reynolds who are a bit underpriced. Or Mbyes = see what i did there Wink
The balance, well going to have to see the aftermath of this round and go from there

With my luck I am always fixing injuries so will see what happens but with internationals next week it gives some minor injuries a chance to heal ( ie Surgess,Grant).

As you can see it has taken some aggressive trading to get here but hopefully should be in a good spot with the byes coming up

    ROUND 9 RESULTS

Well seem to be on a roll hitting my third 900+ score in a row.
A lot of that is party to having a consistent captain and Cam has been nothing but that in recent times.

The trade in's of Norman and Lamb both worked out great with the latter possibly being more than a cash out if he can keep his Kick metres.

Disappointment of the week was moving Aubo out of the Centres and going Holland instead though that was a coin toss.
If anything I learnt that he can still score well if playing there and along with Harris/Yeo/Claw/Taikarangi all showed that as long as well. Harris is an instant pickup if DPP.

As mentioned earlier running both Mitchell and Barba is safe due to the high ownership so mitigates a quiet game (like this week)

Anyways can't complain much, even Nathan Davis came back and made money this week so looks like the red rash has cleared (For now)

You're not wrong! By trading Merrin - Fensom the week before he went BIG, trading in RTS the week he went down instead of Hunt and trading in Asiata instead of Lamb leaving Gutho in my NPR's I have lost over 200 points. If I had made those trades I would be ranked inside the top 500. Embarassed

If anything though Bren, there is plenty of time to turn it around.
Learn from your mistakes and move on, there is always going to be regrets in this game and I have plenty too.

Asiata should go well over origin and RTS was a keeper before he got injured.
Merrin to Fensom makes sense too especially with Origin coming up, I held him for that week and got rewarded but he could have also gone the other way too.

If anything one thing I have learnt this year is to hold that 1 extra week, especially dealing with 'guns' or semi guns.

You have done your research before bringing them in so unless you have crap luck, there is nothing to think they won't play well that extra week.
I mean you can't be that wrong surely......
If they still suck then you haven't lost much, and they have at least given you that last chance for you to keep them. You can sleep well knowing you gave them that at least.

Seems to have worked for me, ie Cartwright,Merrin,Whitehead. They were all close to being dropped at some stage
Anyways nothing to worry bout Panda, you got this .

    ROUND 10 TRADES

    Aiden Tolman
Looks to be returning to form, has a low ownership and good byes with a BE of 37 so has bottomed out. For 80k I get an upgrade on BLaw and at worst is a low end keeper or an '18th' man to my team.

    Tohu Harris
Doesn't play origin, doesn't have the best byes, low ownership and plays solid minutes with great base stats.
If he plays centre this week he will possibly get DPP and will move into CTR to replace Aubo, if he plays second row then will score well so no real downside.
BE of 40, so will bring him in regardless and see what happens.

So bit of a wait for an update, while I thought I would enjoy the 'Bye' week I have been craving footy like an addict looking for their next fix.

You may wonder why I went Tolman over Graham, well still look at bringing in him in the next week or 2 but need to keep some spare $$ for a very large purchase next week.

As you can see, I got hit with a De Belin injury curve ball just when I was close to a settled team. A mythical dream where I close to trading by choice and not just to field a 17.
Haha keeps the game interesting at least

Now for some more graph porn, as I know there are those who love the odd erect line or statistical seduction

I had thought of trading BLaw this week, but opted for the cash out of Taylor leaving me a big kitty next week. Blaw and Grant on the block next week, byes be damned

    Oh the possibilities hehe

Cheers boys, hoping they work out alright.
Had to bring in Tolman as have been championing him for a while as under priced along with Harris.
Just haven't had a chance will all the whack a mole injury fixes haha (Now Harris is a little more pricey but still a goer)

Bring on the next game, yeooow

    ROUND 10 RESULTS

Well mixed feelings this week, feel a little empty though still managed another 900+ and gained some more ranks so not all bad.
I guess it came down to last nights game with inflated expectations for Hastings,Aubo and Mitchell but they all went pretty low so probably explains this feeling.

Anyways well played to THE RUPSTA who won the H2H by a small margin. Came down to my Aubo vs his Fergo and while both scored poorly Fergo was the winner.

Tohu Harris trade in was a great move in the end and proved his worth coming into my team this week.
Tolman was probably a bit under par but will be valuable over the byes

Not long to origin so with trades being burned then need to make some smart trades for keepers as this will make or break the season
