I didn’t think that about tedesco

Broncos have knocked off two of the best 3 teams in consequence weeks have 4 games at suncorp in a row then titans,

They have proved they are the real deal this year, primed to score lots of points, that draw is worth factoring in

To say it’s not is fanciful

Broncos were sitting around 3rd on the ladder towards the end of last season, then lost to the spoony Tigers and barely won another game to finish 9th or whatever. That's the worst team of the 5, so I wouldn't write the others off yet.

Leaves me with no CTR cover for a week but might solve that when Tricky has to go (and Talau wasn’t going to do a great job anyway)

Means I don’t have to play Doorey and can have a look at a few dudes (cheese, Sloan, Boyd)

Only have 17 green dots at the moment and probs want to keep Ford

Could go a more ambitious move with Smith or Boyd to Bird/HTF/another to solve a Ctr spot but I think it will keep

    What do youse reckon?

I played the first two, and now 3 rounds without CTR cover, I figure if one goes down i lose 20 points Razz

Was just thinking that Dylan Edwards comes to mind as potentially a good comparison for Walsh. Great fullback in a great team and averages low to mid 40's and even in blowout games he never goes that crazy high.

Pretty much what I expect from Walsh. Doesn't have the Teddy playstyle to go much above that.

Still a great buy at the price and I'll probably just go with him, but can't help but wonder if Miller can manage close to a 40 average for $100k less. Has more potential than Walsh for good cash gen too due to his lower price if he strings a couple good games together.

I have both and am happy to roll with them until someone bottoms out (could be Teddy in a few weeks??)

Walsh is going to score 120 this week 😉

I've got $20 on Walsh for top try scorer at the NZ TAB @$51.00.

    So for South Sydney

Chee-kam most likely goes to the bench when arrow is back right and Shaq should be staying there most likely all season?

will probably get the better one next week if they can get minimum 40 again

I largely agree with you on walsh long term average.

Somewhat disagree that last week is his ceiling. Not to say he has to play 'better', but fantasy doesnt always work like that.

Also, i think if you grab walsh now its for a hot run of form, not necessarily season average. Its a match ups pick, which we know how well that usually goes, but as other fella said, its hard to ignore. Average of 50+ in the next 5 weeks is realistic possibility before tapering off as the season wears on

Also agree re last post on perham, but for some reason he feels really iffy. Unsure why

Hey look I am probably wrong on Walsh, but I would rather buy him now than wait til he hits 700k, if he only maintains his current average I have chosen a reasonable FB with good byes.

Miller should average more than 40, just needs to be written into the set plays coming in from the back.

Sure, but have you ever known stick to say one thing and then inexplicably do something else? Like I said... I think it's unlikely, but Stuart should always come with a disclaimer. He gets lots of Texas and watches the game closer than anyone else

I honestly think that Ponga being out for the knights will be good for Miller's attacking game, they need speed coming into the line and talent, he has both and has gone under-utilised, waiting for Ponga to do something.

Yeah I had Walsh in my team until TLT R1 and switched him out to Miller after he was ruled out with the facial injury.

I was a bit worried about his first game back after such a short turn-around, and he was so involved.

I now have Teddy-Miller-Walsh, and am very happy to ride them right through with Warbrick backing up.

I think Teddy averages 52, Miller 45, Walsh 48, but who really knows?

The facial injury is a worry, next time he gets hit in the head when he ducks a tackle, he could be out a few weeks.
