TU: Cheese + Cleary to DCE & Tohu with $86k itb
TD: Cleary + Turuva to the same two with $0 itb

If I do the 2nd one I can probably still use cheese if he loses money or not and Butcher to like Walsh and another cheapie under 450k

Walsh has to play like that every week and Broncos to dominate every game, for him to hit keeper status without goal kicking and kick meters. I can't see that happening. Tops out in the 40s as an average. Good value still at current price point, great to watch, but not a top tier fantasy prospect without the extra 7 points a week.

I largely agree with you on walsh long term average.

Somewhat disagree that last week is his ceiling. Not to say he has to play 'better', but fantasy doesnt always work like that.

Also, i think if you grab walsh now its for a hot run of form, not necessarily season average. Its a match ups pick, which we know how well that usually goes, but as other fella said, its hard to ignore. Average of 50+ in the next 5 weeks is realistic possibility before tapering off as the season wears on

Also agree re last post on perham, but for some reason he feels really iffy. Unsure why

Perham should be on people's radar. Has looked really good, connected well with the other backs. The first game they got screwed by the refs and never recovered. Could match Miller for less.

Yes, Perham like Sloan looked out of his league in the trials, but in that last game he looked like he has some swerve and acceleration to find LB and TBs.

Lesson learned boys and girls make sure you have cover in all positions. Started the year with no fb +ctr cover and now paying for it. Bringing in Walsh for ponga this week then next week I'll still be down another fb with teddy on the bye while trying to fix my trindall problem or I'm playing katao in the halves. In saying that I'm loving the new bye situation just adds so much more chaos to the game

I didn't say last week was his fantasy ceiling, but he needs to play like that every week to have a chance at keeper status.

Looking at some shits and figure that the most pragmatic approach is to hold both Cheese and Boyd and ditch CNK & Talau for Preston and Sloan (or other)

Leaves me with no CTR cover for a week but might solve that when Tricky has to go (and Talau wasn’t going to do a great job anyway)

Means I don’t have to play Doorey and can have a look at a few dudes (cheese, Sloan, Boyd)

Only have 17 green dots at the moment and probs want to keep Ford

Could go a more ambitious move with Smith or Boyd to Bird/HTF/another to solve a Ctr spot but I think it will keep

    What do youse reckon?

I guess what i mean is, i think he can and will play like that every week, for the next month or so.  After that the grind of the season starts to kick in etc

I dont know why but he fkn loves the broncos. Never seen someone so emotional to pull on the jersey
