Some great discussion on the forum last night girls and guys, give yourselves a pat on the back. Happy trading!

On the topic of value buys, I've got my eye on one for next week.
Tui Kamikamica.
Normally he isn't fantasy relevant, but last year he had quite a few 50+ minute games, and with NAS out until round 8-10, I think it's highly likely he plays around 50 minutes a game until then. Priced at 579k, and his career average in 50+ minute games is 48, so it seems like there is at least some value there.
Only real downside I can see is that he doesn't really offload much based on his stats from last year, but if he does start offloading (as NAS would do a lot) then he could be a big value buy.

In that game, Warriors won't be missing any players.
Broncos will be without Haas, Carrigan, Flegler, Cobbo, Capewell, probably Walsh.
Will be surprised if SJ doesn't outscore Reynolds that day.
You have obviously not watched the Warriors the last 10 years when they take on understrength teams

I think he's probably priced around where he scores. Welch and King take a large chunk of the minutes, Tui probably goes around 45 mins in the current lineup, and it may take a couple of weeks for him to get match fit? You'd just have to hope for a couple of barge over tries but you could say the same for just about any prop, except Twal.
Storm to rip in this week after being blasted last weekend, so he probably goes over early from a Harry Grant short ball.

Twal's tryscoring travails are a bit of a cliche, but I was shocked when it was mentioned in commentary last week that Pat Carrigan has never scored a try in first grade. I looked it up because I was sure it couldn't be right, but it turns out he is on a duck egg.

He was frequently getting 50 minute games last year even with NAS there (and JBrom playing the minutes that Welch is now), don't see why he can't keep doing that. We had King there too.
Either way, we'll get a look at him this week, but he's on my watchlist in case I need a MID next week, as Tatola may not be ready right away.

A bunch of people probably had Cleary out this round pencilled in from the start
I'd pencilled in one of Cleary or Ted. I was hoping Ted after a couple of banners, but here we are. Then i was thinking Cleary to Turbo via Ponga. But Ponga ruined that, or Kepoa's head did. Some of those 9% will be like me, trying it out to see how it looks. Won't necessarily stay that way tomorrow.

The even more scary thing is that Carrigan is yet to record a Line Break.
Twal by comparison has 5.
Does this mean Carrigan is Twal-Lite?

My round 2 questions, with answers:
Latrell - How much will the PCL issue affect his fantasy output? - still putting up a gun score
Hopgood - Was round 1 score an anomaly? - No
Wilton - Is he worth a punt with Graham out for a month? - YES looks like it, but it's a luxury trade
Walsh - Will he join the WFB elite this season (50+ avg)? - High 40s probably
Collins - Is he going to keep producing 50+ scores with the extra mins available? - played big mins, but scored 46
Dolphins - Was round 1 a flash in the pan? - No, Fins for the premiership
BSmith - Worth keeping? How are his ribs? - The Cheese smells a bit off
Dragons - Is there any fantasy gold in the Dragon's lair? - yeah, should have gone with Lawrie, not Host. Bird & Sloan viable options.
Ilias - mid range cow? will he kick on? - nope
Koroisau - low rd1 score to drop in value, could be value pick in a few weeks? - yes, on the radar

I mean, Twal LOOKS like a classic plodder. Patty on the other hand - he looks like he's got a bit of flair for a big fella.

This is true. But maybe we're all just getting distracted by his greatly superior hair

Doesn't that suggest that Twal making more line breaks is more attacking in himself not less? (given he is playing in an inferior team)

Missed the Warriors last weekend, Did Wayde Egan get a knock/HIA for his minutes to be 58, or was this just the rotation?

It appears possible Twal averages 52 from 50-55 mins, but I think Carrigan will play 60+ mins and average 62.
You get what you pay for in both I think.
So really it just comes down to budget and hairstyles.

6 scores between 24 and 36 last season in +50 min games. Almost made me swerve him to start with

Twal is actually looking a bit trimmer this season, maybe he's looking for a bit of extra acceleration or a maybe bit more aerodynamism so he can slip through two defenders on the line....he really wants that try
