Did Mahoney have a possible HIA on the weekend or a 'moment' on field where he copped a knock ? ?

I was just joking about the cost of cheese at the grocers. I didn't consider starting with Cheese in my R1 team.

Twal's tryscoring travails are a bit of a cliche, but I was shocked when it was mentioned in commentary last week that Pat Carrigan has never scored a try in first grade. I looked it up because I was sure it couldn't be right, but it turns out he is on a duck egg.
Carrigan has zeroes across the board for tries, try assists, linebreaks. Averaging a huge 0.1 LBA per game. The new age Aiden Tolman

Tolman was relevant for a couple of seasons around 2014/15 & he definitely went on a tear at some point and facilitated a upgrade...could this be what's happening with Pat?
I'm monitoring for a dip and then a sideways leap to someone like Joey Tap

Thoughts on holding Boyd this week (playing him at HOK) and instead just selling Talau to Sloan? Could hold the 2nd trade if I do that or use it to sell Cleary to either DCE or Cook, both of whom can match Cleary.
Boyd's BE is only 37 so another score in the 20s doesn't lose him that much money, and Talau's not gonna make money anytime soon.

Anyone else of note, lets say over 50 games, without a try?
Might be worth a few bob on each of them to break the drought this year

Yeah I'm gonna try to hold Boyd this week and maybe go ARey next week if Boyd sucks again. I was tempted by Boyd to Bird in 1 trade, but leaves my halves shot when Trindall disappears and no bank.
I'm a bit iffy on Sloan. Single digit and low scores even with a try in his past. Got off to a great start though, so can probably make money off the back of that, definitely if he jags another. I'd probably punt on BMM, but I'm short on MIDs compared to WFBs.

I think Sloan will do alright, the Dragons have looked better than they were expected to be, and Sloan only need to average 30 across the next 3 to make 90k, which is pretty decent.
As for the other trade, I think I can hold Boyd this week, the question is more so whether to sell Cleary, and if so whether to get DCE or Cook.

I started with him the year that he was priced about 40, expecting mid to high 40's, but he ended up averaging 50+ until the first bye from memory. I was hoping Hodgson could be that guy this year. Not looking great, but the jury's still out on that one.

I've tossed up Cleary to DCE, expect it could be a big week for DCE vs. Eels left edge. Feels like a one week punt though and too many times my emergencies have scored well enough, even better than the gun I traded in. I tried to pick a balanced squad with cover for these 1 week things.. no point having cover if you don't use it.
Sloan's also a thousand times better to watch. I like him anyway. That try back against the grain was beautiful.

Kenny
Tino, Hopgood, Uto
Fifita, E. Katoa
Cleary, Doueihi
HSS, Alamoti
Trbo, Miller, Warbrick
Boyd, Carty, Trindall, E. Butcher
Ilias, Doorey, Thompson, TMM
Not sure what to do this week. I am thinking Ilias and TMM to Tohu and Preston.
This fixes my problem of no backup mid.
Next week Trindall to Sloan.
Cartwright to Walsh whenever Cartwright is done.

With Nelson out for 6-8 weeks, Tui sharing minutes with Sims in the forward rotation. I’m strongly considering Josh Kiing. Sub 600 k, 23 BE two strong scores. Could very well play 80?

Yeah I'm considering Cook over DCE, Cook was one of only a handful of players who was a genuine captaincy option alongside Cleary last year, and it means I don't need to buy a gun hooker before round 5, whereas if I go DCE I do need to get one (would likely be Koroisau).
I think at this point it's either hold Cleary or get Cook.

Doubt it, Kamikamica will probably get NAS's minutes (around 50 per game), Sims would take mins off King first.

I think he'd need to play 80. Average of 38 in 60 minutes at lock last year. Priced at about 43. Could be an alternative to lord SJ.
