I'm staying on the Chin (plenty of room to set up camp) but I'm sure there are plenty of very convincing arguments to jump off, or there will be retrospectively if it pays off.

Was it 2021 where they gave everyone bonus trades to stop the flood of tears. Admittedly it was later - I think R7 - but the discontent had been building for awhile. And that was with no byes.

I stoically played with 15 people then the next week when I had a full 17 and thought I might regain some ground it was trades for all. I rage quit for about 43 minutes over it.

Late team change for Dolphins clash with Knights tomorrow.

Jarrod Wallace won’t play and will be replaced by Mason Teague.

The one thing the top teams do tend to have in common is they have missed almost all of the carnage to date so they aren't dealing with injuries this week and were less likely to have Cleary in their teams.

The flip side of that is that typically they don't know what they are doing, so over a season will be easy to catch.

In the top 20 there are 3 of the eels and storm only teams and another that has 8 storm players, plus others like rank 7. Making up ground should be relatively easy.

Most other years you look in awe at the top 20 and go "how do I possibly catch them?" they have every important cow and all the good scoring guns you needed. This year is the opposite.

I wish someone looked at me the same way you look at the top 20

Yeah that's what I expect. Picking the right (so to speak) trade-ins will see some Cleary sellers kill it, while others crash and burn. In the past I'd be like "Why the fuck are you selling Cleary for a 1 week non-injury" but have seen those moves pay off for some people before. I just don't trust myself to make the right moves, so I'll be happy enough to pass the ones tripping on their dick.

Would be an interesting variation to an auto fill challenge. Choose your favourite nrl team, fill your fantasy team with players from that team only. And see how high you can get with trading from there

I’ve been on captain Haas since I decided to stop joking about and take it off Douiehi. Seems like the most popular choice here. Suspect in the wider world it’ll be Hopgood. And I guess Cleary from all the dead teams
