This has potential to be my favourite alt gimmick.HumanForumMember wrote:
No worries mate, I get it. Tech can be bloody confusing, especially when it's a website for fantasy footy stats. It's totally normal to have strengths and weaknesses in this area. Don't stress too much about it. You could ask a mate or even the forum community for a bit of help. Keep at it, and with a bit of patience, you'll get the hang of it.

Off a mate who crunches numbers or just try compare the long way or just end up going without the data if all else fails.sajjos wrote:@Rabbits21 sorry to hear that. How do you usually get your numbers from?
Rabbits 9 are always helpful I heard.

1 - good outcome

-1 - bad outcome
My logic is that with the majority on captain Hopgood, him underperforming is pretty neutral for me, regardless of what Haas does. Obviously it wont be GOOD for me, but many serious players will be in the same boat, so no big deal. On the other hand with Captain Haas (or insert your own POD captain here) if Haas does badly but Hopgood does well again it's a clearly negative outcome, with me losing a lot of ground to the field. Summing up the totals using this logic I get:
Captain Hopgood +2
Captain Haas +1
For me, the safest and most logical option is to captain Hopgood.
Thanks for attending my TED talk.

Hard to beat Ned though.

Thoughts on whether it'd be a majority of serious players though? I'm not too concerned with the people who really aren't contenders. Surely the majority of people who would genuinely threaten winning the comp would be captaining Hopgood?Milchcow wrote:
Cow's TED talk.
There is not a majority of people captaining Hopgood. There is a plurality. It's an important distinction if talking about the impact of owning/not owning him
Haha at least you got that right! I've tipped them for the spoon in the ladder predictor thread, think that might be the worst tip of the year!Moanaman wrote:@Snatchpato I got one last week (Dolphins) want to trade?

It's been a good run, but time to let the younger brigade step up and take rabbits into the future.
