Yeah the 'previous comments' were about how, while Doueihi looked both bad & hurt and they scored some tries when he got moved to FB, Brooks made a whole bunch of hare brained decisions even after the switch (the one you mention plus flinging it over the sideline while trying to hit a winger who was marked come to mind)

As a tigers fan it was horrible to watch. Almost stopped watching in disgust.
    No real stand outs.

How has he been treated? Consistently being backed by the Tigers and given big contracts (reportedly earning $1.1mil this year) despite never really earning it?

I meant more the media than the Tigers. If you're constantly being told that you're a shit player for 10 years, that'll fuck your confidence.

He has to leave the Tigers (and he tried to go to the Knights twice but the Tigers didn't let him)

While Doueihi had a very bad game, I reckon Brooks' game was worse given their respective roles.  The 5 minutes of hope shouldn't detract from the other 75minutes of pure shit he dished up.  Made a lot of really bad defensive misses and couldn't organise the proverbial piss up in a brewery.

The highlight:  when he seemed surprised that the dummy half passed it to him on the 5th tackle while attacking the tryline, and he promptly did his statue impersonation and died with the ball.

Nofo's been below his best all year too.  Maybe he wanted to stay with Storm?

Wasn't that chat early in the week that Brooks was going to be dropped? Now we are talking about Doughboy being dropped. Crazy.

Souths have become really slack on injury reports. Cookie said he will be out a couple of weeks at media presser today but I’ve heard 3-4 weeks and 3-6 weeks.

We can’t catch a break on middles that’s 6, I hope the boys can do it for Satts this week with a gutsy win built on guts and determination won’t be easy with barely any props left. I’ll be there Sat Night

927 score was 47 for round rank- which is pretty crazy

Can do Jackson Hastings to SJ for one trade this week so may do that

Hope that Hynes is rested one more week so trindall is playable

Have to sort out doorey as well as he’s crook,

Is there a world where Hynes returns via the bench?

I'm in a position where I need to get a hooker in this week or next as I only have Boyd. Problem is, there's not much value in that position.

Tempted to grab Turbo and worry about it next week haha.

If you’re after a cheap option, Zac Woolford (362k) is likely to take Levi’s starting spot at the Raiders with Starling continuing to come off the bench.

Think Starling could be a shout. Even if his minites increase is only small.

Also you could look at Grant or Robson and be done with it

If it was round 1 then hes probably 17th/18th man but its a risky trade in a bad side.
Every time I have traded in Wakeham, it has ended badly.

Starling and Liddle (team list dependent)

Api and Brailey close to bottoming out in price

Robson ain’t getting cheaper. Cook might

I’m psyching myself up for SJ. There’s history…

Last year he scored only 40 but with all of the kicking in R1, then after an injury (first red flag ignored), I decided the big brain move for R4 was to grab him at 545k for his comeback game. And it kinda worked! 49 then 47 despite not yet kicking goals (2nd red flag), it looked like he could score steadily and be sold at a tidy profit later. Then he got 28 and 21 and I cut my losses at 542k. Then he got two more 20s. Think he got the kicking tee back about R15

Anyway I’m sure this year is different but hard for me to overcome my bias on this. ARey is only 100k more right?

if I didn't have bigger need elsewhere I'd consider Koroisau

52+54 in his 2 starts, and that is with the Tigers being terrible. Not going to get significantly cheaper

Or just cough up the money for Grant/Cook to get the points without value

Consider Brailey? 56.5 ave in 2021, on return from injury in 2022 he started slow but ended the year with a L5 average of 57.4

Scored 51 in R1 this year then off with HIA R2. BE of 74 so can wait a week, but would be bottomed out soon and you'd get a 50-55 ave hooker who also plays R13

my tv broke wrote:Only reason I am considering holding E Butcher atm is that a 40ish point guy is better in a pinch (in the next few weeks) than a guy off the bench scoring 7's and losing cash.

But it also wouldn't surprise me if Trindall managed to keep starting for whatever reason.

Hynes hasn't exactly been rushed back though, and if Trindall partnered Hynes I wouldnt want to be playing him anyway as Hynes will dominate the ball.

Roosters' bye this week the clincher for me.

I really doubt it. If he's back, it's because they're fully confident that he's good to go and he'll be starting. They'll have Trindall on the bench to give him an early rest if needed

You might be onto something. Brailey will be about 620k next week with a score of 55. I see him as 100k undervalued at that point
