Cold feet on Walsh after realisation Miller also plays R13 but no chance of Origin, so gives me another R13 number, and also saves 80k. Also plays R16 if he kicks on

But theres 12 weeks+ of avoiding injury/suspension/team shakeup (Ponga back to FB) to get through first

So what are your thoughts on MCK as a trade-in? Too late? Does he keep starting and getting minutes for a while?

I’ll be honest I haven’t looked at any bye rounds more than two rounds ahead haha

What’s this about Kenon playing prop? Suddenly not interested to put him in if that’s the case

Mind you I don’t think they’d move their beast of a second rower for Host and or MCK

He got dominated when he went into the middle last week against that Roosters pack, he's such a better edge player where he isolates the halves surely they keep him there as much as possible

We are decimated in the middles mate 6 of our 9 props are injured Tatola, Arrow, Sele, Shaq, Havili, Knight…. We only have Tom, DSF and Moale left.

Keaon played middle coming through and in reserve grade before he stepped up to first grade. He’s capable of playing there and playing well but I prefer him on the edge but as I said we have no big bodies left in the middle. Next week Sele is back so I would say Keaon starts edge but again could play a few mins in the middle.

@Mulvy Chee Kam it’s hard to say as with Sele back next week Keaon and Host (hasn’t played a game since round 10 last year)probs start edge but Chee Kam should still get good mins off the bench next week on and who knows on Sele whenever he’s back he struggles to get through a game so injury prone.  I was looking at Cheeks for my 14-17 but I think I’ll pay the 50k extra and get Lemuelu for my 14-17.

Main reason I started with Moses, plays all bye rounds and one less trade to make later

For R13 at least you’d want 2 out of Moses, ARey or SJ as it stands

Haven't given it a hell.of a lot of thought, but instinct is it'll be next to impossible even with a lot of trades to have the optimum two halves for each of the big bye rounds *and* field two halves in each of the small byes (as well as the right number of hookers, centres etc)

When are you lads gonna start looking at round 13? Tbh it is not stressing me out yet do we think round 8/9 is the time we should start looking at it?

I do realise I’m probs gonna have to trade guy like Cleary, Turbo and potentially a Haas or Grant over origin.

On Miller if he can avg 45ish til round 13 I’ll hold. My worry is the Knights are such a bad team that he may avg 39-41 and I’m not sure that’s enough.

3 trades a week from 7 should make it pretty easy to sort round 13, presuming you have a few that play through right now

Rumour floating around as well that Munster mightn’t play. If that’s the case I guess it could be Pezet and Wishart as halves? Or they get an exemption for young Fa’alago to debut pushing Meaney to the halves? Surely they won’t move Grant to half again……..
