Hodgson's 10 is going to stare at me all weekend.

So now the question is, SJ this week, or a Milf next week?
Can get away with playing Boyd this week, but will definitely need to buy a half and hooker next week if I wait

Yep I hate it when my hand gets caught trying to give strangers reach arounds! Approaching from the front on with a fishnet singlet works for me mate

If you have IKatoa he might become the dominant half?
SJ over Milf for me

Yeah no Katoa for me just a Trindall. Probably best to just fill that gap this week, with Hodgson gone next week and no Boyd (bye) I’ll have no cover for the week so hope it works outsajjos wrote:

Sutton for no risk 40-45 but personally I would play Boyd hoping he has a ceiling game

Looking good there Welshy
I'm also on the fanatics injury list with a grade 1 Hammy. No gnarly bruising like you have, just a bit of a limp at the moment.

Need to make a decision on who to sell for Preston.
Likely either HSS or CNK who are now both out of my 17 assuming I play Sloan.
HSS gives me a spare centre that I otherwise won’t have where CNK is maybe playable and likely makes more cash if he plays like week 1. Is it reasonable to say even if HSS gives me a backup centre he doesn’t score well enough to play anyway? Can’t decide.

Would say HSS given he will likely lose spot when Savage comes back and not really looking like making cash fast yet

Genuine question (as I've seen a few people suggest this);
Why are people thinking an 18-year-old five-eighth who had a grand total of 3 NRL games experience is likely to become the dominant half with SOS out?
They might not be the greatest halves in the league, but I'd imagine that the more experienced players in Milford or Kodi Nikorima might be expected to step up into that role? (especially given it's Wayne Bennett who loves his experienced players)

Yeah this. Ikatoa role isnt going to change much.
Dolphins might try and pick up another half ?

I thought the dominant half thing was tongue in cheek? Though you never can tell here.
Still, Katoa was getting a decent split of kicking metres even with SOS, would expect him to take on a bit more responsibility as he gets more used to the NRL, he's obviously rated highly by Bennett otherwise he wouldn't be there in front of Milf/Kodi in the first place. So, not dominant half exactly, but not bad for base price. Be next up to kick goals after Isaako too.

From what Wayne said in the press conference it sounds like katoa will move into half and milf stay at 5/8. Apparently Katoa was always a halfback anyway through the lower grades.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2023 Part 22 - Go the Phins
I'd imagine Katoa will play a similar role to Sam Walker a couple of years ago. Won't be 'dominant' per se, but will see plenty of ball when he wants it and do a decent chunk of kicking. Can see him averaging a decent amount more than before, maybe low 30s. One to monitor for me who doesn't have him.

Oh cool, thanks for that. Haha, I hadn’t even checked but I guess there’s sense to that after the last few years and where he’s played. Thanks for the peace of mind.
