I'm also on the fanatics injury list with a grade 1 Hammy. No gnarly bruising like you have, just a bit of a limp at the moment.

Best make sure Farmer Brown doesn't spot you limping around the paddock

I thought the dominant half thing was tongue in cheek? Though you never can tell here.

Still, Katoa was getting a decent split of kicking metres even with SOS, would expect him to take on a bit more responsibility as he gets more used to the NRL, he's obviously rated highly by Bennett otherwise he wouldn't be there in front of Milf/Kodi in the first place. So, not dominant half exactly, but not bad for base price. Be next up to kick goals after Isaako too.

From what Wayne said in the press conference it sounds like katoa will move into half and milf stay at 5/8. Apparently Katoa was always a halfback anyway through the lower grades.

Snatchpato wrote:I'd imagine Katoa will play a similar role to Sam Walker a couple of years ago. Won't be 'dominant' per se, but will see plenty of ball when he wants it and do a decent chunk of kicking. Can see him averaging a decent amount more than before, maybe low 30s. One to monitor for me who doesn't have him.

    That all makes sense.

Either way, it seems like it shouldn't hurt his opportunities

Yeah IKatoa maybe not be the dominant half per se but the output may increase with SoS out. Milf has been given enough chance to run a team on his own and he has never delivered. Woolf also rates Katoa highly with their Tongan connection. It's all speculation.

Every year people find new ways to use trades on centres. Congratulations on the innovation.

I traded out Alamoti instead of HSS at the end of R1...

I am still clinging on to the possibility that this could not possibly be a repeat of my Taylan May mistake last year and that Alamoti is going to tank in the next few games

Could I possibly just fess up, cut my losses and trade Alamoti back in?

    Possibly

But I choose the fickle path and join the death ride cheer

I'll wait a week to see how it shakes out but firmly on the watch list. Aside from Nikorima there isn't really any threat to the job

Even if there is no threat to his job, there is a reasonably big risk that his job wont be up to the standard of breaking even

Veteran front-rower Aaron Woods is on the verge of joining the Manly Sea Eagles for the final season of his career.

The 32-year-old St George-Illawarra prop is part of a swap deal between the Dragons and Manly

Manly’s exciting young forwards Alec Tuitavake and Viliame Fifita will make an immediate switch to the Dragons as part of the swap.

Manly coach Anthony Seibold sees him as an important mentor to the club’s younger forwards and his experience off the bench will benefit the Sea Eagles.

This will be the 32-year-old’s fifth club after stints at Wests Tigers, Canterbury, Cronulla, the Dragons and now Manly.

News Corp broke the original story of young forwards Tuitavake and Fifita joining Saints, effective immediately.

Finally some props for the Dragons. Excited about this. Maybe one of them can be fantasy relevant

Morning. Great seeing so many with excellent scores so far, and those who feel a bit behind, I hope things improve for you during the Sat/Sun games. 631/9C here. Null Squared my current lowest @48, and how wonderful it would be for that to be the case at the end of the weekend. So(I’ve heard ranting works) Miller, ITT, Boyd, Alamoti, maybe Preston, and I’m especially looking at you, HSS, it’s time to STEP UP! returning to my not so loud letters, i’ll be happy with anything over 950.
