I don't really care about Boyd, everyone has him playing, and it's his last game for my team. Did his job, shored up my halves til I could scrape up Cleary dosh.

I don't feel comfortable holding Boyd, really should trade him to SJ tonight - I'll need another half next week anyway

But need to keep cash for a few other trades

Tenuously footy related - does anyone know how to fix a footy sized hole in a neighbours fibro (asbestos) shed?

I think he's my stepping stone to SJ, and might trade before tonight

However also need to bring in Hosking/Lawton/Walsh/Miller/Tom Turbo/Lemulemu/Whoever else

Yeah Boyd to Cleary as soon as the shop opens

I feel Boyd is another like Butcher that could hit some 50s after selling. I'm gonna try to hold him through the bye next week and trade Trindall. His time is limited though as I look to upgrade him to Hynes or Moses asap.

That's 100% just Rogues stirring up Butters.  Cerutti is a champion at doing it.

For now my plan is to hold Boyd and trade Trindall to Brailey in one trade unless one of the following happens:

    * Hosking appears as a must-have (Garner dropped in his favour etc.)

    * There is a suitable cheapie who I can downgrade Trindall to in order to fund a Boyd to Cook/Robson trade

Yeah, I am feeling like that too, have had to hold both Boyd and Butcher due to other fires, but feel like they can have a decent game to kick start them any week.

Even if just scoring low 40s average, at $470k isn't bad as an 18th man and both HLF and HOK cover.

They just said on the tv coverage that Holbrook is really happy with how Boyd is going.

    Hahaha

Kids friend did it. Didn’t go through the inside panel at least so it’s still water proof. Not keen on drilling into fibro to cover with a board for obvious reasons. A truckload of filler? Maybe just filling the edges around the footy would actually be more cost effective and look like a post modern art installation… I dunno?

Sound like pretty good plans, I've looked at the same except with a HLF instead of HK.

If Trindall can scrape a few dollars, I might be able to afford him to Hosking pending TLT. 147k bank currently.

One of the happiest outcomes this weekend so far, is Hopgood playing 69mins @ 0.9 ppm with Matto back.

Boyd not in my short term trade out plans, as long as he keeps the spot and gets close enough to 40 each week I'll be happy.

Feeling he goes closer to 50 in this one
