Those stats you have shared look pretty good to me though - thanks for sharing cheer

Well even by mine it shows that if he can grab 45 minutes then he will have his 10 points of value. Commencing the official chapter of Easy E minutes watch, just like the good old Tapau days.

He has been injured up until ROUND 5 and unavailable for selection. He was playing under the titans under a very different coaching structure to Bennett for the past few years and was hooked one game and never really got given a proper go after that. He was personally targeted by Bennett to join the DOLPHINS. He was always ahead of the others (just injured)

    I am not looking to discourage your venture, but just a couple of considerations;

You say he's under a very different coaching structure - aside from the coaching personnel being different people, can you elaborate on how the structure is different? - or is it just a different coach?

You could suggest that every player that has joined the Dolphins were personally targetted by Bennett - yet they can't all be in the 17 and they can't all get big minutes.
Additionally, wasn't he also brought to the Titans (from the Knights) by Justin Holbrook? (working off memory here, so I may be wrong)

If he played better, and offered more, he probably would've received more opportunity at the Titans, no?
Surely some of that responsibility is on him for his own performance on field and at training - I think you have a presumption that this has greatly improved (which it may, or may not have...), it's certainly possible that Bennett will get more from him than Holbrook, but you can see why people might be cautious to see some proof prior to considering him as a trade target.

I didn't start with Fifi for him to make money. I didn't think anyone did?

Neither did I, and that’s not what I’m trying to say, although quite poorly evidently. For me, Hoskings is too valuable a potential cash generating player for me to pass. In order for me to acquire him, I need to ditch someone in that price range, and unfortunately that someone is either Fifita or Carrigan. This isn’t about trading out a keeper, it’s about missing out on potentially $200k + of cash. I figure you have to be able to deviate away from original plans and that is sort of what I’m doing here.

Taking on board what you lads have highlighted, I think I’m now ditching Carrigan to enable Frizzell and Hoskings, then see what happens come week seven and whether I can get Hynes in some other way. Maybe Hoskings is done by that point and he’s the out…?

I’m one of a few with the Tohu dilemma..

    I’m considering the following:

    A) Downgrade to Hosking for cash
    B) upgrade to Haas for points
    C) hold him and trust he will play & score well

    My team currently for context:

    Grant
    Hopgood, Tohu, Carrigan
    Preston, E.Katoa
    Cleary, SJ
    Alamoti, HTF
    Sloan, Miller, Mitchell

    Ford, Carty, Keppie, Boyd
    Warbrick, Ikatoa, ITT, TMM

I’m thinking if I get Hosking I’ll be light on mids with a risk of only one week of scoring from him, but can handle it with Ford moving up and Keppie covering.

I don’t mind spending on Haas but restricts options moving forward.

Also was hoping to go zero trades this week as I’ve max traded so far.

Basically just hoping to get a feeling of what others would do in the same situation?

    Thanks in advance team 🙏

Do many people on here still own Doorey?

If so what are your thoughts on what to do with him.

    Just a little Paps update

“He’s made a little progress,” Craig Bellamy said.

“I think he’s started to run on land, not so much in deep water now.

“That’s a progression – I’m not quite sure how much of a progression – you don’t want to take any chances because it’s been a long progress. There’s still a little work to go, but I’d like to think that’s a really positive step forwards.”

Looks like he`s still a far way out but positive signs for the bloke.

BSmith with maybe a rib injury was a must sell and gonna be terrible all year.

Garner with a confirmed rib injury is back any week and a guaranteed starter

Smith is still guaranteed starter, just not guaranteed fantasy output.

Garner is definitely less guaranteed as a starter, but is a sell for the same reasons (if god forbid you still have him haha)

Smith should probably have been rested in week 2 after that hit from Kaufusi.

Jake trbojevic has gone from 15 passses a game average to just 16 in 3 games so far, putting in a bit more grunt work(changed role)

Cam Murray has gone from 16 passes per game to 19 per game,

Dunno how relevant to fantasy but I found it interesting

Doorey to Lemuelu this week for me. 10k short of trading him to Hosking sadly. Had Ford since R1.

I know that Loiero to Hosking is almost certainly forcing things, not really necessary, and potentially even backwards in the worst case scenario. But god it's tempting.

Have already saved 2 trades so far and saving another one this week by not going through with that feels weird. Getting an itchy trigger finger.
