Doesn’t NAS have the bye next round? Seems crazy to buy a player only to stash him away as a red dot the week after. Really a lot of hopium for that 80+ tearaway game (then again, it worked for Hynes). His price wont get away if he puts in a 50.

Not convinced Payten is over the Granville to mid and Cotter bench experiment yet. Time will tell I guess

I’d be scared of NAS minutes and match fitness

The bye seals it as a no go for me

See the appeal long term though

Not many jumping on JDB due to Dragons roulette?

Cold on Crossland too… surely Gamble gets decent minutes

Happy TLT everyone,I have tomorrow off due to being at home with the flu so I’ll definitely provide some advice for whoever needs it tonight and tomorrow. Was hellbent on bringing in Hynes this week but now I’m thinking of maybe some mid price trades with potential to go big. How does these trades sound?

    Carrigan to Mann
    Alamoti to Manu
    IKatoa to JDB

    Grant
    JDB Ford Haas
    Preston Katoa
    Boyd Cleary
    Manu Lemuelu
    Teddy Miller Walsh

    Hopgood
    Mann
    Hosking
    HSS

    Crossland
    Wakeham

Teddy was on 19 from 24 minutes without a try before his injury and has a history of 80+ tearaway games (4 last year, even went 100+ 3 times in a non- Vlandysball season) but he is apparently not a buy due to a breakeven in the 50s?

Aside from wanting him to score better is there any reason anyone would pay extra cash for a historically worse scorer?

I might take a punt on JDB,still undecided yet. I brought in Crossland last week so I hope you’re wrong, still think he should be good for 50+ minutes

With very few exceptions, starting HOK get lots of minutes. Crossland got 68 minutes last week, with Mann going to lock. Have we even seen Gamble play HOK?

I am pretty tempted by Mann at that price, also covering a Mid/Half.

Coming around to JDB myself, I think they'll need Bird to stay second row moving forward.

Can't see any news on Su'a, just dropped?

Elliot back soon (AOB said likely 2 weeks), which IMO means Mann drops to bench and takes HOK mins

Su’A shoulder injury (few weeks according to Dragons site)

Was going to say, surely you can’t get dropped for BMM

Elliott isnt playing 80 at lock. Mann gets some at lock and some at hooker.
