Everyone talking about Manu, but how about Keary? Historical average of 41.7 at Halfback, Manu doesn't really kick he's more of a runner

    Is only $507K hmmmm

All of this weeks options feel like a bit of a stretch to me. Be nice to save at least a couple of trades

Thats what we said about Elliott last season.... every week.

Whitehead clearly isn't a lock and Horse being given 70 minutes each week is a huge sign of confidence in him playing that role.

Anyone remember who was Walker partner in the halves last year when Keary didn't play anymore?

AJ would be a good shout in a few weeks time, maybe a round 11 trade-in. Souths run from R11-19 is: Tigers, Eels (bogey team), Raiders (major bye), Titans, Dragons, bye (major), Cowboys, Warriors, Bulldogs (major bye) followed by another bye where you could safely trade him out. Plenty of points on offer there with 2 big byes covered. Wouldn't bring him in any sooner considering the chokehold Penrith and Melbourne have over us

With Keaon out a lot more ball could come left too since the KK/Ilias combo is a big part of Souths success going right this year and last and is why Stretch has scored so many tries this year. Interesting to see if Arrow moves to 2nd row or stays in the middle also

Catching up... two cents on Manu is that it's his jersey now but as soon as there's an injury in the Roosters 2-5 he goes back there and Sam Walker is resurrected. If it's Walker and Manu vs Manu and Corey Allen or Drew Hutchinson, you pick the former. He's still a gun centre at centre though and 600k is probably what he's worth when playing there, so it's hardly the worst downside.

He played Origin last year when fit, reckon he's probably in the 17.

I wasn't just talking from a fantasy point of view.

I have no doubt he is still a quality player but I don't think he comes close to the being the best fullback in the league any further.

His run meters have dropped off, he doesn't appear willing to do as much of the hard yards as he used to. He seems to look to pass before running and he seems to have lost that explosiveness that used to make him so dangerous.

The Roosters can get by with him being a ball playing full back as they have enough explosiveness especially with manu at 6 but I def think he is on the way down and could be darius like by the end of his contract

Queensland have a lot of middles, eh? I'd see the 100% certainties as Tino and Carrigan, the 99% certainties as JPap and Welch, and then pick the other two from Collims, Cotter, Arrow, Gilbert, Fotuaika. Can't see much prospect of either Horsburgh or Hopgood getting a run.

All this chat about Lemuelu’s Job Security has me considering pulling the trigger on selling him early.
Doesn’t seem to be consensus on his role going forward but I think we all agree that he’s not a keeper.
Patience or a lack of action can often be the best move in these situations, although it got me thinking about bringing in bye coverage guns in the form of Cotter or Matterson.

What are everyone’s thoughts on their Origin selection? Seems to be a lot of chatter that Cotter will miss out due to increased Queensland depth.

What's the story with Elliott? I've seen people say due back soon and listed indefinite injury. Any insight from PongaYeoTheMann about what's happening at Knights re Xland Mann etc

Yeah you're right. Tricky. Maybe Arrow does miss out. In his favour he can play edge (as can Gilbert), so maybe one of those two are definitely there? I suppose Tino can as well

Reckon Collins has one spot, then Cotter based on debut last year. Arrow could be a shout due to versatility

Cotter was huge for QLD playing 80 at lock last year. Wont get dropped. Will have a chance to perform the next few weeks with Lolo out.

Amazing averages when getting >60 mins in the middle…
5 rounds of value even if he does get picked for Origin
