Has anyone contemplated that possibly Teddy is past his best and on a downward spiral to being the next Darius in 12 months time ?

    Defensive Matchups after Round 7:
Eels fullback has regressed to still be a favourable matchup but more in line with Raiders and Sea Eagles as equal best.
Panthers still a nightmare matchup and Warriors move into top 3 fantasy defences thanks to holding the Cowboys to just 452 fantasy points last week.

Total left field shout but Alex Johnston at 460k has lost some cash now. Although he's not a great fantasy player you can bank on him going on a run of 2 and 3 try games at some point in the year when souths get firing. Obviously a risky pick but his relevancy increase as his price falls. Could be a lethal loop player to have in the emergencies.

He could be picked up for under 450k with a soft draw of Tigers, Eels, Raiders, Titans and Dragons after round 11. Will he go on another mid season run of tries ??

    2021
Round 12-18 scores 15 tries, averages 61.8 and makes 257k going from 373k to 630k.

    2022
    Round 10 - 20 scores 16 tries, averages 52 and gains 192k going from 469k to 660k

As far as I know, no-one has been saying Teddy has been poor irl, just not getting the fantasy scores we’re used to

Grabbed him in super coach but don't think I trust him enough for the 17 in fantasy. Plus I would feel disgusting cheering for Souths to score points

Anyone here rate Horsburgh as a buy next week?

Seems like he's got the big minute lock role now that Adam Elliott had last year (subject to Ricky doing his thing) and 583k is a decent price given what he's capable of (about 50 average when playing big mins at lock).

I may be biased because I currently have no MID cover and can most likely trade Loiero directly to Big Red in a single trade next week, but thoughts?

Me either, I'd be using him as a 17th man at the most. Ideally he would be a boom or bust looper sitting in the emergencies.

Yeah, I am planning to bring him in next week. High PPM player getting 70 minutes, can score a try.

Good shout. If he can stay around this price or lower might be a decent choice for the cash poor through Origin. In the same way someone mentioned Feldt a couple of weeks ago, but he scores even more tries historically.

Maybe not quite Darius levels, but the change to tackle bust scoring looks to have affected him more than the average fullback across the league. The highlighted part is where the scoring change came into effect.

Not with the middles that QLD have at their disposal.

From last year's team they have Carrigan, Cotter, Tino, Papali'i, Collins, Arrow and Gilbert, and also have Welch who missed the whole series last year but was a walk-up start before that.

They realistically have 5-6 middle spots in the team - two starting, and 2-3 on the bench. As good as Big Red would be in the Origin arena, I don't think he'd jump ahead of the 8 guys I just mentioned.

What will QLD forwards and bench be bar obvious. Will Arrow and Hopgood miss out meaning Arrow buy and Hopgood hold?
