Yeah have been picking up on that vibe.

The anti Manu chat has put me off a bit aswell but as someone who has to play Alamoti and 1 of Perham/Warbrick every week it would be nice to have a Manu type in there

I am surprised anyone thinks Wighton is worth that kind of money.

He's a good player for sure but yeah that $$$ is absurd, especially if he's strictly CTR

I wouldn't want Wighton in the centres for the Broncos for more then 500k.

I'd take herbie and staggs over him every day of the week.

I`d like Wighton at 13 for the dogs.

Wouldn`t pay anywhere near 1.1mil though.

Have to play one of Warbrick, Alamoti and IKatoa if I don`t get Host or Crossland.

Too many options, love playing Indoor on a Thursday night though so I`m forced to make a early desicion- Too bad it will be the wrong one.

I like it mate we are lacking X Factor in the backs it’s a reason why we have struggled in the big games no strike weapons out wide.

We have had an issue on that right wing for a while Campbell is very good at the shit work runs and brilliant defensively but he doesn’t pass too much in attack. AJ is great at finishing but won’t explode out of nowhere. Tass is solid without having the ability to steamroll people. Wighton outside one on one is gonna create opportunities and can steamroll blokes he’s a class and a marquee player mate. Right now if our 1, 6, or 7 gets injured too we don’t really have any back up mate.

Wighton would be a back ended deal, Cody and Cook retire after 2025 I think so that’s when a Wighton money would go up to 900k a year. I think next two years he would be on 750-800k.

He wants to win a premiership too and I feel next couple of years our window is still open a hungry Wighton could be the X factor we need mate for that next level.

Still don't like it. You can't seriously think he's worth that much?

Our forwards depth is solid mate we have Duncan and Lovett who the club see a big future in too especially Duncan.

We are without Tatola, Keaon, Havili, Shaq and Knight and still are fielding this tonight…

Arrow, Cook, Tom, Chee Kam, Host, Murray, Jed, DSF, Sele, Moale.

Rabs, whats your thoughts on Moale? Had him since the start so have been paying attention to him. Thought he's looked quite good in the minutes hes played from what my uneducated eyes are telling me. Seems to have some starch in Defense and can produce some good runs when given the chance

I doubt anyone would pay $900k for the best centre in the game let alone Wighton.

I don't believe the number for a second.
That would be mid-2000s Warriors level stupid. No way Souths are anywhere near that dumb.

They must have stolen the Roosters sombrero if they're paying that. Just like when they stole all that juniors territory from them in the 1950s.

It's elite spine money or a game-changing mid like young Tolo or Haas.

    Same issue mate.

Leaning to holding Alamoti over getting Host.

    TU play Warbrick
    TD play I. Katoa
