    Maybe it’s Wighton 😂

Meant to be an announcement in 30 minutes

Some whispers it's RTS but don't know

Looking forward to a rank slide tonight
Only have the Chin (no captain) & the Hosk

I've noticed a drop of hundreds of ranks when Murray plays, seems to be a popular player

Oloapu in at 17 with potential Loop of either S.Luke or I.Katoa.

Oloapu named to play, loop in I.Katoa.
If he's not named, can either loop in I.Katoa or keep him at 17 if S.Luke has a good game tonight.

You doing Alamoti to Host mate?

Yeah, I think I have to mate.

Have put Host into the formula and based on 2023 PPM and career PPM he needs between 65-72 minutes to make 150k.

I believe he will go close to that, seems safer than having to pick between Katoa, Alamoti and Warbrick where any one of them can put up a 13.

Weighing up whether to get rid of Alamoti or Warbrick

Dugan, an injury prone player who had a reputation for being the NRL tampon, being signed for another club 5 years ago for the same money, which is worth far less now as a % of salary cap...makes this a bad signing? Not following here

Wighton isn't playing half so his current form there is irrelevant - he'd be centre, 14, or 2nd row at a stretch. I'm definitely not in shambles about Wighton and Johnston paired on the left being fed by Walker and Latrell

The point being desperate signings rarely work out, especially at centre. Wighton is a physical player now over 30, with a reputation for getting drunk and throwing punches. The chance of injuries with his physicality will only increase with age. Signing him on 850k a year to play centre is crazy at best, the best centres in the game arent worth that much. Wighton does nothing to push Souths into premership contention, he just gives you another player to run into the almost-fights and botch the last play option.

Imagine if you signed a real half instead or even a prop. But hey, at least hes available over origin now.

    Carrigan to JDB

I tend to agree with this, think he'll be good in the short term, but the 4 year deal is madness,

I'd rather have RTS in the centres than Wighton.

rate em, carrigan might come good with the harder fixtures, but think JDB at least matches him, and you have to trade carrigan before origin anyway

JDB price should be rising in the next few weeks

I feel like he hasn't exactly been well managed by the Blues/ABs. 12 was never the right position for him, never understood that. Thrilled he's coming back to the Warriors.

He doesn't have the kicking game to play fullback in union and I don't think he would have been to go back to union to play wing.

That would be an awesome signing for this year, move CNK to CTR and suddenly have a really good back line, especially when Metcalf is available.
