Late Mail: Josh Hodgson (illness) is set to return with Ben Hands shifting to the bench.“He (Hodgson) is good,” coach Brad Arthur said. “He’s the fresh one on the scene this week so hopefully he leads from the front for us.” J’maine Hopgood is tipped to start at lock as he did last week with Ryan Mattersson shifting to the second row and Bryce Cartwright to the bench.

Wonder when they’ll add Ben Hands to fantasy…

Love it! My sons first experience of watching the Warriors aged about 2 weeks old saw them keep the Dragons scoreless so for a week he had the record of having watched the Warriors play but never having seen them concede a point.

The following week they get held scoreless in a loss to the Panthers and he had a pretty good summary of the life of a Warriors fan condensed into his first month.

Haha, I was thinking that too but can't for the life of me think of his actual name. To the app I go now.

Edit - Brendan. I thought it was Lachlan for some reason.

My son started watching the odd Saturday/Sunday afternoon Tigers games with me last year.
I'm pretty sure he hasn't seen them win a game yet...

One time he told me he likes the purple team (clearly already smarter than me)

Haas is ok with restricted minutes, so he should be good for 70min

Batman likes the Rabbitohs because he has a green Xmas tshirt with a Reindeer on it. Green = Rabbitohs. He calls it his Reindeer Rabbithohs Shirt. He tipped them last night and is still on top of the ladder.

If this is true I'm one of the ones about to go into a mind-frenzy.

In my head, Manu sits atop the options, but I still don't mind McInnes. Is any interest in McInnes done so with the belief that Finucane covers Rudolf's role until Rudolf returns, thus McInnes retains the 13 jersey until Rudolf's return?

Can't afford Bird or JDB, who would probably be my preferences, so they're off the table.

    Other affordable options are;
Turbo - as a H2H player, not too concerned about Origin, though it's not a non-factor due to the games missed after Origin too
Koro - just a bit more interesting without Simpkin on bench
TPJ - bit concerned about his suspension risk, likelihood of further injury, and then there's how many minutes he plays. I think he plays enough minutes, and not as worried about suspension as much these days, but main thing holding me back is his recent injury history, which seems so vast. Or is this in my head?

Anyway, the countdown to my internal frenzy goes on. Almost there...

Yeah I'm a bit lost, although its mainly just boredom now and mulling ideas.

Straight swap Carty to Manu, easy.

    or

    Carty and Katoa/Loiero to Hynes/Bula

or instead of Hynes, a Fifita/Matto type

    Carty Party confirmed starting.

Must have got the late mail from the same source as the one that had Garner replacing Hosking

So maybe I just revert to original plan of no trades.

Russell apparently moved to the wing with Simo at centre, that seems so weird given that Russell was playing centre and Simo was playing wing prior to his suspension.

Looks like I might be banking some trades. I'm semi-interested in Crossland, and Manu would be nice, holding has it's merits too.
