So maybe I just revert to original plan of no trades.

That kinda makes thing tougher. Was all set to trade him to Manu.

Yeah, I think this is me too. I do really need to save some trades and I guess this is an invitation to do so.

Not writing Manu off for next week, but with that BE and the question mark over his role and how long that other guy's in reserve grade for, I don't think it's a bad thing to sit on it for a week.

So do we reckon Carty plays 80?

What's his bloody name? Walker. Sam Walker.

I've moved Carty on for BSmith. Expecting Matto to move to Carty's EDG at some point, probably not first interchange for Hopgood though. Thinking 50 odd mins for Carty again.

Might do Couch to Crossland since I'm not too keen on playing Warbrick or IKatoa 17th man.

Someone mentioned it earlier today (i think), trading just makes you feel like you're active, doing something in the game. New shiny toy that everyone else seems to be grabbing and you want to get on board.

Who knows with Carty, probably gets subbed off, but may as well stick with him another week and find out.

Don't doubt Manu is a good buy and I want to grab him too. Maybe its a Storm edge that should make way with their byes coming. Maybe I can just wait a week to decide..? Its not like my team is doing any good anyway, but if I keep max trading I'll be properly cooked in a few weeks regardless.

Are simo centre and Russel the same side? Paired with carty?

Broncos left side might run through that like a hot knife through butter

I'm keeping Carty but I need to ditch Doorey for someone cheaper. Slim pickings this week.

I'm off to overthink the trade for 45 minutes and then not be able to make it because I was in the shower.

Yeah early thoughts are Host to Sele too. Pretty much a straight swap? If not maybe a tiny profit

Sele should be negative BE and if he’s getting more minutes then coach thinks he’s capable?

Don't forget one interchange that wasn't used last week will be needed for Hands.

Yep, I really need some trades saved.

Other factor for me is I can afford Carty to Manu with 2K to spare. If Carty drops a few dollars and/or Manu actually betters his BE (which to be fair, if I thought that was probable I'd pull the trigger) the window on the straight swap closes. So do I just do it this week? Is the question.

Would you play Carty over any of EKatoa, Loiero, Boyd, Preston?

Higher average than both Boyd and Loiero, but reckon there's a decent chance Carty doesn't play 80.

The Carty party lives on for another week.
With him starting I am happy to hold through this week and address him next week. BE is manageable.

Here's hoping he doesn't go Host mode
