To leech off this post, I agree and I also think the starting 13 only big byes was a great addition for the same reasons, lot more thought nessecary for balancing the team instead of just loading up your INT

Cotter maybe, Nanai I think next to no chance

People seem so high on Cotter playing Origin but reality he's played ONE game for them, and they won the series without him?

Think odds are that Carrigan is starting 13, Cotter has been in a struggling team (and himself tbh)

No one really knows but Billy, but if he rewards form (as he did with Cotter in game 1), I wouldn't be shocked if Fifita and Horse make the team ahead of them

Disclaimer: I do not have nor intend to buy Cotter until I see the Origin teams announced

TU: trade Turbo for Drinky, or play Bula this week (and probably next week too)
TU: hold Turbo and wear the shit scores and price falls, to trade someone in I actually want

Drinkwater is great for bye rounds and probably as cheap as he is going to get but.....personally I'd like to see both him and the cowboys string a few decent games together to make sure he's not just a more expensive Sloan

I hate trading in people I'm not actually convinced by...it usually goes pear shaped (get someone you want)

Because I had Bird, Lemuelu and Manu so I traded him to Brandon Smith for $50k.

Worth noting that if you have Robson (the premium 13/16 hooker), you can't also play Granville in R13. Maybe you can in R16 if he gets DPP (no guarantee based on the first lot of DPPs given)

So you get a couple good scores, then some potential 20s when Taumalolo gets back. Then maybe a good usable score in R16 (depending on origin make up and what sort of role Granville gets)
Might not even make much money by the time you sell depending on what he does in a full strength team

He's basically a cashout with potential upside. But really if you wanted him you had to move 1-2 weeks ago.

I traded drinkwater in initially on the basis of cheap, then I looked at his stats...cheap for a reason, too rocks/diamonds for me.

Went with Ponga instead What a Face

So assume Granville not switched or even if he is what about Lawton. I'm doing Bula plus $325k or less to get Hynes and trades have to be done tonight. Selling AKP Carty and EKatoa

In the next 8 weeks, Drinkwater will play 7 games, and Ponga will play 4 (if he makes origin)

I think you can easily wait 2 weeks on Ponga (only 1 game from him), price won't get crazy out of reach (and is just as likely to keep going down)

Is it worth going Host to Granville?

Or just keep Host, hope he comes good, and save the trade?

Ditto mate. Been much more intricate and thought provoking this year - also I've been caught out a couple of times and learning a lot from it.

Completely agree mate. He's by no means a premium CTR but with a 37 BE, he can hit this comfortably and then he's back making $$ for awhile.

Aggressive trading, getting rid of some fluff, bringing in Hynes, much to like
